He then walked to the pulpit, waving his gun and shouted that this was the "the will of Allah. He was arrested by police who were unable to establish if his motive was related to references to his religion or if it was just a family issue. Reshad quoted the Koran after the murder telling a police officer that he had "served his purpose" and that he "found solace in his religion after he shot his father”

I reported on this horrible shooting in a church on Easter. Every news report left out the religious aspect of the murder. I didn't, of course. It was obvious. (The jihadi screamed "this is the will of Allah" as he gunned down his Christian father). It is an Islamic pattern to attack Christians on Christian holidays. Now that the religious aspect in this case is unavoidable, we can expect no coverage going forward.
He quoted the Qur'an after the murder, saying, according to a police officer, that he had "served his purpose." Apparently that purpose had to do with the Qur'an's command to "slay the idolaters wherever ye find them" (9:5).
