1. July 12, 2019 Murder of Sadie Roberts-Joseph Louisiana Civil Rights Activist  Louisiana civil rights activist Sadie Roberts-Joseph, and founder of an African-American museum was killed by "traumatic asphyxia" before her body was found in the trunk of her car Friday afternoon when police were directed by an anonymous 911 caller to her car parked behind a vacant house northeast of downtown Baton Rouge. Death was ruled a homicide by "traumatic asphyxia, including suffocation." Ronn Jermaine Bell, 37, a convicted sex offender, was taken into custody Tuesday on a charge of first-degree murder. The victim was landlord for Bell who was living in one of the homes Roberts-Joseph was renting out several months behind in rent payments owing as much as $1,200.(2)
2. April 1, 2019  Chad Isaak Workplace Mass Murder in North Dakota Chad Isaak, a chiropractor from Washburn, is suspected of mass murder where he killed by stabbing and shooting every one working at RJR Maintenance and Management in Mandan North Dakota which manages the trailer park where he lives for no clear motive. The victims were Robert Fakler, 52, the owner and company employees, identified as Adam Fuehrer, 42; Lois Cobb, 45; and her husband, Bill Cobb, 50[1] [2]The hit was carefully planned like a professional to avoid detection by picking up shell casings, changing his clothing, and cleaning a knife and gun with bleach. To cover his trail, he stole a company car to a truck parked less than a mile away at a McDonald's, but surveillance video at businesses along the route still traced his path. [2]

4. 3 dead, 2 injured July 12, 2014 Pasadena Tenant-Landlord Shooting 35-year-old John Izeal Smith is in custody, and appeared to be a tenant who chased and shot his landlords. Of 3 dead, two were a man and a woman in their seventies. Two people sustained minor to moderate injuries. The gunman chased two people down a street, fatally shooting one and wounding the other, then a neighbor who tried to help was also shot and died in a driveway. The gunman barricaded himself in a nearby house and fired on police officers before he was talked into surrendering. The shooter had three weapons, but mainly used a semi-automatic rifle like a commando terrorist.

October 15, 2014  Man convicted again in apartment manager's stabbing death KCCI Des Moines  A jury has found a Des Moines man guilty of second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his former apartment manager -- again. A Polk County ...Polk County jury on Thursday convicted Norman Charles Wadsworth, who stabbed 58-year-old Darlene Crook on Oct. 15, 2014, at an apartment building in the 700 block of East Fifth Street in Des Moines.
