Missing Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj Leads To New Mexico Extremist Compound

Missing Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj Leads To New Mexico Extremist Compound --- ===

Friday August 3, 2018   Missing Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj Leads To New Mexico Extremist Compound  Sheriffs in Amalia New Mexico searching for a boy missing from Georgia  arrested two men from Atlanta Siraj Wahhaj and brother-in-law Lucas Morton  who were “extremists of the Muslim belief.”  (1)(6)  Police moved in on the mysterious compound after authorities in Georgia intercepted a note crying for help from someone in the compound: “We are starving and need food" to where nine months earlier and nearly 1,500 miles east — in Jonesboro, Ga., where a mother told police that her husband had taken little Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj to a park and never returned. (4)

Abdul-Ghani’s mother Hakima Ramzi who was married to his father without incident for 15 years (24) reported her son missing after her husband told her he was taking the boy to  the park in Jonesboro, Ga. to perform Islamic ritual of ruqya, a form of prayerful meditation to mend damage from witchcraft, but they did not return (26)(8).

The boy was encephalopathic, suffered from seizures, could not walk and needed emergency medication that his father did not have.(4) Siraj Wahhaj was accused of kidnapping his 3-year-old son Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj from Georgia in December. The boy's mother believes he was going to perform an exorcism on the boy, because he believed the child was possessed by the devil.   (9)

Shortly after the boy was reported missing in December, his father Wahhaj was involved in an car accident when his Ford Explorer SUV registered to Jany Leveille, who Wahhaj's considered to be his "Muslim wife" rolled over on Interstate 65 in Alabama. (30). It carried seven children, but none had the missing boy's date of birth.  They told J.W. Earnhardt, the state trooper at the scene they were on their way to New Mexico to go camping. The trooper wrote in his report that Mr. Wahhaj was driving heavily armed, with two rifles and three handguns including a 9-mm pistol in a holster on his hip, and had a bulletproof vest, several AR-style magazines a bag full of ammunition,. A Glock .380 and a Smith and Wesson .38 special handguns were in factory cases ejected during the crash along with several Qurans on the ground and other books written in Arabic strewn across the road.  Wahhaj stated owned the firearms legally and had a valid concealed-carry permit”. At the Shelby Baptist Hospital, an injured Jany Leveille gave the trooper a different story that they had not moved to Tuskegee, that they had only stayed there overnight, and  were not legally married, contradicting Mr. Wahhaj. Her story was that they were driving to see "Wahhaj’s brother-in-law’s land.” (26)  At the time there was no child abduction warrant against Wahhaj because he was married to his son's mother, so as there was no red flags, they they were were allowed to continue on their way. After the rollover, they made their way to a plot of land outside Amalia, N.M.(26) (25) .

A court judge eventually issued an arrest warrant to question Wahhaj after he failed to let the mother know where the boy Abdul was. Police alerts for the boy and his father, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, went out in multiple states.  (4)

Land owner Jason Badger said he had spent months trying to evict the group  Jason Badger said Tuesday that he had concerns about the makeshift compound near the Colorado border.   But he says the courts and other authorities shot down his attempts to break up the encampment (11)   Court records show a judge dismissed an eviction notice filed by Badger against Lucas Morton in June.  Neighbor Tyler Anderson, of Amalia, also said on Tuesday he had helped the group install solar panels after they settled on Jason Badger's land in December  (11)

Jason Badger and his wife Tanya returned to the property to look for Abdul-Ghani, who they believe was the child they saw that resembled the boy two times, in January and February. They found two breathing machines, one with "a little bitty mask". (25) After the arrests, property owner Jason Bader said there was a court order allowing the seizure of a stolen trailer that made up part of the compound as authorities denied that they razed the compound to the ground (18)

Wahhaj is the son of a prolific militant Islamist nationalist imam of same name Siraj Wahhaj from New York City (6)  Brooklyn imam of  Masjid At-Taqwa in Bedford-Stuyvesant. He is an African-American convert to Islam who is a charismatic and controversial figure with an international following. (29) Hujrah and Subhanah are  his sisters and the elder Wahhaj’s daughters. Morton is brother in law married to Sabhanah, and Leveille is the younger Wahhaj’s partner and "Islamic" wife, his boy's mother is the legally married wife.

The elder imam was born Jeffrey Kearse convert to Islam who was a rising star in American Islam. In 1991 he was the first Muslim ever to lead a prayer before the House of Representatives, although the documentary The Grand Deception believes it was a propaganda ruse to cover up militant beliefs (28). He was hosted with other notables at a State Department banquet of lamb, lentils and saffron rice to break the Ramadan fast. (10)  As far back as 1982 he “bulls**t” for Muslims to pledge allegiance to the American flag, and later called the United States “filthy and sick.” In 1991, the same year that he gave a Congressional invocation, Wahhaj called it “an honor to die in jihad.” (28) He later was mentioned as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He was also a character witness in the trial of Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman calling him “a respected scholar” and “a strong preacher of Islam” Rahman died in prison after his 1995 terrorism conviction for masterminding a plot to blow up New York landmarks and murder hundreds of people. (9)  (28)

In 2005 the younger Wahhaj was part of an unsuccessful federal lawsuit in which representing himself he claimed that he was detained, harassed, fingerprinted and photographed by Customs and Border Protection agents at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York when he was traveling to and returning from Morocco because he was "the son of a famous Muslim imam.”.(26)

Some of the children at the compound are believed to belong to Sirag and his  wife, Jany Leveille, who was also arrested (6) The boy was missing and his remains were not found on the compound buried in an underground tunnel on the property until Aug. 6, what would have been the boy’s fourth birthday. (27)  (2) (5)  The body was found in a chamber in the back of a tunnel in a condition “consistent with a type of ritual burial”. (31)  Missing father Siraj was found inside the compound  surrounded with a fort-like berm and stacked tires as walls, and he was heavily armed with an AR-15 assault rifle, five 30-round magazines and four loaded pistols, apparently the same weapons spilled when his SUV rolled over in Alabama and state troopers helped him clean up and send his party on his way to New Mexico(3)

Police found 11 starving children 2 men and 3 mothers. They had been searching for 3-year-old boy, Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, who went missing from Clayton County, Ga., in December and was believed to be in the area. The compound had been observed for two months, but they could not find probable cause to storm the place until they intercepted a message to Georgia pleading for food and water. Authorities only saw a few potatoes and a box of rice. (8) The compound was built on remote stretch of road where a travel trailer was buried in the dirt, ringed with a wall of tires and earthen berms and covered it in clear plastic (4) with no water, plumbing and electricity(7)  Prosecutors believe the five suspects were abusing 11 children and were training them to commit school shootings (12)

After publicity surrounding the arrests, The New York Times reported that a spokesman for the elder Imam's mosque on Facebook accused the news media and the authorities were engaging in “propaganda” by wrongfully injecting mentions of international terrorism and school violence into what amounted to “a domestic situation”. He said “They’re not bringing up accurate events — they’re bringing up false narratives,” Mr. Judan said. “Look how this case has turned from a domestic situation, and now they’re trying to create an atmosphere where his son is involved with an extremist radical group.” (26)

At the dead boy's funeral, the child’s grandfather, imam eldeer Siraj Wahhaj announced “I have met no one more loving to Abdul-Ghani than his mother Hakima,”  said during the funeral at Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, looking toward the mother. “But Hakima, as much as you love Abdul-Ghani, Allah loves him more.” (23)

The children told police investigators of rituals to “cast out demonic spirits” (21) Leveille's two teenage sons had described how she expected Abdul-ghani Wahhaj, the boy who died, to be resurrected as Jesus and provide instruction to confront, reveal the 'truth' to or "get rid of "corrupt institutions (commit terrorist attacks ) against teachers, law enforcement and banks. (32)  One of the girls hear  Leveille mentioned Grady Hospital was a "corrupt" institution where she was displeased with treatment she and her mother received there."(13)

Investigators recovered a 10-page, handwritten document entitled "Phases of a Terrorist Attack" from the New Mexico compound. The document includes "instructions for the one-time terrorist,"..  Prosecutors wrote that new interviews with some of the children taken from the site revealed that one of the adults, Lucas Morton, stated he wished to die in jihad as a martyr  (20) Leveille and her partner and Islamic husband Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, "would laugh and joke about dying in Jihad." (13)  Jany Leveille came from Haiti  35 lived in the U.S. illegally for more than 20 years, federal officials said Wednesday was detained by immigration officials Tuesday Aug 28, 2018 (19)

Defense attorneys called extremist and terrorist charges were hyperbolic and fantastical, lacking orroboration.  Siraj’s father denied his  his son was a religious extremist but allowed his son might be “extreme” and high-strung. At the end the detention hearing, Judge Sarah Backus agreed with the defense. she ruled that the defendants were not shown to be a threat. They were carefully released  under conditions including a $20,000 bond, cooperation with child welfare officials, a requirement to obtain housing and weekly contact with their attorneys. (31)

Judge Backus further accused the prosecutors of anti-Muslim bias against the Islamic terror camp organizers (14)  Judge Sarah Backus was soon widely condemned for issuing bail, so she fired back “The defendants are apparently of the Muslim faith,” read the order. “The Court was asked by the State to make a finding of dangerousness and a finding of no conditions of release could ensure the safety of the community. The State apparently expected the court to take the individuals’ faith into account in making such a determination. The Court has never been asked to take any other person’s faith into account in making a determination of dangerousness. The Court is not aware of any law that allows the Court to take a person’s faith into consideration [it's only because they are Muslim she is expected to believe they are potential terrorist, despite finding a 10-page, handwritten document entitled "Phases of a Terrorist Attack"] in making a dangerousness determination,” writes Backus.  “The state alleges there was a big plan afoot but the state has not shown to my satisfaction by clear and convincing evidence what in fact that plan was,” [Phases of an attack doesn't constitute a plan?] Backus said Monday, CNN reported. “The state wants me to make a leap and it’s a large leap and that would be to hold people in jail without bond based on — again — troubling facts but I didn’t hear any choate plan that was being alleged by the state.” (15) Wednesday Aug 29 District Judge Emilio Chavez dismissed all charges against three of the five "extremist Muslims" connected to the New Mexico compound because  prosecutors did not move fast enough in the case according to the state's laws, and missed missed the 10-day limit for an evidentiary hearing but  prosecutors can still ask a grand jury to indict the suspects (17)

Many media accounts made no mention of muslim extremist beliefs as Daily Caller reported CNN correspondent Scott McLean brushed aside reports of extremism as being unverified and . NBC News, Time Magazine and CBS News also did not mention the alleged “extremist … belief[s]” of the compound leaders in two recent articles. NBC NewsTime Magazine and CBS News also omitted  “extremist … belief[s]”(16)

Rescued 13 year old boy told agents that Mr Ibn Wahhaj trained him and another of Ms Leveille's teenage sons in firearms and military techniques, including rapid reloads and hand-to-hand combat, and told them jihad meant killing non-believers on behalf of Allah, according to the affidavit filed in US District Court in New Mexico.(22)

On September 12, a federal judge ordered the give adults to remain jail. Jany Leveille was accused of declaring herself a prophet while her partner helped train children for terrorist attacks on schools, law enforcement agencies and other institutions. She kept a journal in which she described being able to interpret messages from God.   She documented the death of 3-year-old son,  who denied medication for seizures b ecause Leveille believed medication suppressed Muslim beliefs. The couple performed daily, hours-long prayer rituals over him in the days leading to his death — even as he cried and foamed at the mouth (32)

US: Islamist terrorists with ties to Democrat Party indicted in New Mexico…….by KGS
With Democrat ties...

The mainstream media has ignored the ties the defendants have to the Democratic Party.
Siraj Ibn Wahhaj’s father of the same name is a notorious jihadist imam. Wahhaj Sr. was close to Omar Abdel Rahman, the “Blind Sheikh” who orchestrated the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 that left seven people (including an unborn baby) dead. Imam Wahhaj testified as a character witness for the sheikh, calling him a “respected scholar ... bold ... [and] a strong preacher of Islam,” and that he felt honored to have hosted Rahman at his mosque.
Imam Wahhaj used to be a member of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) national advisory board. He offered an opening prayer at an event called “Jumah at the DNC” at the Democratic National Convention in 2012 and has been called the spiritual adviser of jihad sympathizer and Bernie Sanders supporter Linda Sarsour. The openly anti-Semitic Sarsour sits on the board of the Women’s March organization and openly admits membership in America’s largest Marxist group, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

MUSLIM TERRORISTS INDICTED IN NEW MEXICO

Accused militants have Democrat ties.

A federal grand jury in New Mexico has indicted five Muslims who, among other things, allegedly trained children to carry out spree killings, formally charging them with terrorism-related offenses, conspiracy to commit murder, and kidnapping. The defendants are Jany Leveille, 36, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, 40, Hujrah Wahhaj, 38, Subhanah Wahhaj, 36, and Lucas Morton, 41.
The quintet was arrested after authorities found 11 hungry, filthy children living in squalid conditions in a makeshift militant training compound in Amalia, Taos County, a remote part of New Mexico, during a raid by local police on Aug. 3, 2018. The children were being trained to commit school shootings, according to court documents ... new indictment lists seven counts: conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists; providing material support to terrorists; conspiracy to murder an officer or employee of the United States; conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States; possessing a firearm while unlawfully in the United States; conspiracy to commit kidnapping; and kidnapping. (Read the indictment here.)
The terrorist cell’s religious inspiration has been identified as Leveille, who is Siraj Ibn Wahhaj’s wife and an illegal alien from Haiti.
According to FBI Special Agent Travis Taylor, Leveille portrayed herself to children at the armed camp as a kind of prophet and claimed she was receiving divine messages from the “Angel Gabriel.” It is a tenet of Islam that Gabriel, an archangel, dictated the Koran to Muhammad.
Leveille and her husband “sought to recruit and train persons, including minor children, to be prepared to engage in jihad and train an army of jihad and to die as martyrs,” Taylor previously testified.

Siraj Wahhaj - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siraj_Wahhaj
Siraj Wahhaj (born Jeffrey Kearse (Arabicسراج وهاج‎), March 11, 1950) is an African-American imam of Al-Taqwa mosque in Brooklyn,[1][2] New York and the leader of The Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA).[1] He was also the former vice president of Islamic Society of North America.[3]

Early life[edit]

Wahhaj was born as Jeffrey Kearse and raised in Brooklyn. His mother was a nurse and his father a hospital dietitian. His brother is writer and editor Gregory S. Kearse of Silver Spring, Maryland. He went to church religiously and went on to become a Sunday school teacher as a teenager in a Baptist church.[4]
In 1969 he ended his schooling and joined the Nation of Islam, changing his name to Jeffrey12x.[4] During this time he was vocal in his belief that “white people are devils." He said of this, “I preached it. I taught it.”[5]
When Elijah Muhammed died in 1975, "His teachings began to unravel in my mind", and he became a Sunni Muslim with the encouragement of Muhammad's son Warith Deen Mohammed. Mohammed took over and reorganized the Nation of Islam, urging members to come to orthodox Islam. Kearse then changed his name again to Siraj Wahhaj, which means "bright light" in Arabic. He was chosen to study Islam at the Umm al-Qura university of Mecca for a period of four months in 1978.[5]

Public life[edit]

Siraj Wahhaj leads the daily prayers and performs the Friday sermon at Masjid at-Taqwa.[6] He also conducts full days of teaching in Islamic studies, Arabic and marital counselling.[6]

Anti-drug movement[edit]

In 1988 he led his community in an anti-drug patrol in which they staked out drug houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant in the cold of winter for 40 days and nights, forcing the closure of 15 drug houses. This effort received high praise from the New York City Police Department and the media.[7]
In 1991, he became the first Muslim to offer an invocation (opening prayer) at the United States House of Representatives.[1][3][8]

Views on governance and the punishment of certain crimes[edit]

Wahhaj has made statements in support of Islamic laws over liberal democracy. He also supports capital punishments such as stoning for adultery and cutting off of hands for thievery. He has said: "Islam is better than democracy. Allah will cause his deen [Islam as a complete way of life], Islam to prevail over every kind of system, and you know what? It will happen."[9]
He has also said: "If Allah says 100 strikes, 100 strikes it is. If Allah says cut off their hand, you cut off their hand. If Allah says stone them to death, through the Prophet Muhammad, then you stone them to death, because it’s the obedience of Allah and his messenger—nothing personal."[when?][10]

1993 World Trade Center bombing[edit]

Wahhaj was one of 170 people identified by US Attorney Mary Jo White in 1995 as "unindicted persons who may be alleged as co-conspirators"[11] in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing,[12][13] but was never charged,[13] and denies any involvement with the bombing.[12]
Wahhaj was a defence witness at the trial of the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel-Rahman, the former leader of the Egyptian terrorist organization, Gama'a al-Islamiyya.[11]
In November 2009, Wahhaj was one of many Muslim leaders who met with New York mayor Michael Bloomberg at City Hall. Wahhaj said that he hoped all Americans would eventually become Muslim and also referred to the FBI and CIA as the "real terrorists".[12]

2018 Discovery of Terrorist Training Camp

In August 2018, the Son of Siraj Wahhaj was arrested at a New Mexico compound with 11 children who he was allegedly training to become terrorists.[14] He was named a non-indited co-conspirator. [15
]
Personal life
In August 2018, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, Wahhaj's son, was arrested on child abuse charges at his Amalia, New Mexicocompound. Taos County prosecutors allege that the younger Wahhaj abducted his now-deceased 3-year-old son to perform ruqya on him, and additionally claim that he trained other children present at the compound to commit school shootings.[9] Wahhaj has publicly distanced himself from his son's actions.[10]

POV[edit]

Someone (a Siraj flunkie?) has repeatedly removed references to homophobic comments in the article, even deleting references to a musical group's song about Wahhaj that criticizes him for the aforementioned comments (so it's not an issue of sourcing). Such highly controlled editing makes it clear that this article is essentially a vanity-style PR piece. waxwing slain 03:59, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Daniel Pipes (danielpipes.org), in the article "The Danger Within: Militant Islam in America" (November 2001), shows another side of Siraj Wahaj --
"A little over a year later, addressing an audience of New Jersey Muslims, the same Wahaj articulated a rather different vision from his mild and moderate invocation in the House. If only Muslims were more clever politically, he told his New Jersey listeners, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate. "If we were united and strong, we'd elect our own emir [leader] and give allegiance to him. . . . [T]ake my word, if 6-8 million Muslims unite in America, the country will come to us." In 1995, Wahaj served as a character witness for Omar Abdel Rahman in the trial that found that blind sheikh guilty of conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States. More alarming still, the U.S. attorney for New York listed Wahaj as one of the "unindicted persons who may be alleged as co-conspirators" in the sheikh's case."
I'm not adding it to the wiki entry but posting it here for further consideration.
From daniel pipes perspective EVERY muslim on planet earth is a militant..
Whoa... It's impressive how one can take a statement where he says that the Muslims in America could have a leader and that unity amongst the Muslims will make the Americans come to the Muslims, and turn it into a call for the abolishment of the constitution.

Let's not have this boil down into an argument. As it is, the article is poorly written and difficult to read. In addition, some of the information looks like it was pulled directly from his site which may be a copyright violation, I am not sure. Either way, I think much of it needs to be rewritten and much can be done to improve the quality of the article, including a section for controversey or opposing views. We should put together a better article on him, drawing from more than just one source and using standard formatting to keep the article organized. MezzoMezzo 13:41, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
I seriously don't see why it says that he has called for an Islamic theocratic state in America. The only "proof" is the quote where he says that the Muslims should unite under one leader (which obviously has nothing to do with the constitution of America). I'll go ahead and remove that statement until someone brings a source.

The Brooklyn imam whose son has been accused of training children at a New Mexico compound to commit school shootings contends the incident is being used as propaganda against Muslims, characterizing his son as “high strung” but not a religious extremist.
In a video posted Thursday on Facebook, Siraj Wahhaj of the At-Taqwa mosque insisted it amounted to a domestic situation that has nothing to do with Islam.

JUDGE RELEASES MUSLIMS WHO 'TRAINED SCHOOL SHOOTERS'
Notorious imam's son asked brother to 'join him and become a martyr'

A state judge with a history of issuing low bail to violent offenders set a $20,000 bail for five defendants arrested at a remote New Mexico compound where authorities say children were being trained to shoot schoolteachers.
Judge Sarah Backus, an elected Democrat, argued in a Taos, New Mexico, court that while she was concerned by “troubling facts” in the case, prosecutors failed to convince her the five suspects posed specific threats to the community, FoxNews.com reported.

New Mexico compound: Charges dropped against 3 suspects  August 29, 2018 CNN 11 counts of felony child abuse against Hujrah Wahhaj, Subhannah Wahhaj, and Lucas Morten were dismissed because a judge ruled they didn't have a preliminary hearing in the 10-day time frame required by New Mexico state law for defendants in custody.. Jany Leveille and Siraj Wahhaj, also had 11 child abuse charges dropped but were arraigned on felony charges in connection with the death of 3-year-old Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, said Siraj Wahhaj's attorney, Thomas Clark.
They face one count each of intentional abuse of a child resulting in death and conspiracy to commit intentional abuse of a child resulting in death (child under 12). Not-guilty pleas were entered by the court on each defendant's behalf. previous decision by a judge to grant bail sparked controversy. State District Judge Sarah Backus received more than 200 phone calls and emails criticizing the move, some of which contained threats,

Aug 17, 2018 The government’s handling of this case is getting weirder and weirder, first with a judge allowing the alleged terrorists to walk, and then the authorities inexplicably bulldozing their compound: New Mexico authorities have executed a court order to destroy an encampment where the son of a famous New York Imam ritualistically murdered his three-year-old son and trained nearly a dozen other children to commit school shootings, according to Taos, NM prosecutors. zNew Mexico judge Sarah Backus on Monday ordered four out of five alleged Muslim extremists free on a $20,000 “signature bond” (meaning they didn’t have to pay), including the suspect in his son’s murder, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj. Gadi Schwartz  NBCNews reported Authorities have partially bulldozed the #NMCompound - trailer that was the main dwelling on the property has been dragged out and seized. ammo/bulletproof vest/paperwork remain. @NBCNews

Jealousy and black magic' within polygamous marriage led to creation of New Mexico desert cult where boy, 3, was found dead and '11 children were trained to carry out terrorist attacks'
The couple behind the New Mexico cult that left a three-year-old boy dead and allegedly trained 11 children with an intention to carry out terrorist attacks, started their desert compound because of jealousy and 'black magic', according to authorities.
A federal filing claims husband Siraj Ibn Wahhaj (right) and his first wife Jany Leveille (left) ran off with his son Abdul-Ghani after Leveille became convinced Wahhaj's second wife, Hakima Ramzi (inset), had used black magic to get pregnant with the little boy.
Court papers state that Leveille had suffered a miscarriage and thought Ramzi – who Wahhaj was also married to and openly enjoyed a polygamous relationship with – transferred the baby she lost 'from Jany into (Ramzi's) womb'v More here. Daily Mail

  • Husband Siraj Ibn Wahhaj enjoyed a polygamous relationship with first wife Jany Leveille and second wife Hakima Ramzi
  • Ramzi is the mother of three-year-old boy Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj who died
  • Jany Leveille earlier suffered a miscarriage
  • She ran off to the New Mexico compound with Siraj Ibn Wahhaj's son because she allegedly thought he belonged to her
  • Leveille allegedly believed second wife Ramzi had used black magic to get pregnant
  • Federal prosecutors say she thought Ramzi transferred the child into her womb
  • The boy was born with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) disease due to lack of oxygen during labor
  • Leveille's brother, Von-Chelet Leveille, believes they were trying to heal him at the compound using ruqya, a way of driving out spirits in Islam
  • The boy died December 2017 after not taking his medicine
  • Prosecutors claim they then waited eight months for the child to be resurrected as Isa – the Islamic name for Jesus Christ
  • Wahhaj's family believed Leveille was suffering from schizophrenia and jealousy
  • They also accused her in the past of putting spells on her husband Wahhaj, while Leveille had accused her spouse's relatives of having her under a curse
born with a disease called hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) due to lack of oxygen during labor and Leveille's brother, Von-Chelet Leveille, believes they were trying to make him better at the compound.

Wahhaj's family believed his first wife – who he met a few years after she moved from Haiti to Brooklyn undocumented in 1998 - was suffering from schizophrenia and jealousy.

They also accused her in the past of putting spells on Wahhaj, 40,

Allah confirmed that indeed, H.I.E. and diseases of the sort are not real. Isa Ibn Maryam (Abdul-Ghani) was lifeless since birth,' she wrote in her journal.

They claim in the filing that they found evidence once the boy was brought back to life, the team of young children they had trained to use guns would attack 'teachers, military, law enforcement, and financial institutions.'

Lucas Morton, 40, his wife Subhannah Wahhaj, 35, and her sister Hujrah Wahhaj, 37, were also held on charges amid claims they helped train children for potential attacks on schools, law enforcement agencies and other institutions.
