August 12, 2017 3 killed, 19 injured Charlottesville White Nationalist Rally Crashes  In Charlottesville VA a white nationalist rally clashed with counterprotesters in the streets when a car plowed into crowds, leaving one person dead and 19 others injured.  Hours later, two state police officers died when their helicopter crashed at the outskirts of town in connection to the rally. Being held without bail on murder, other charges in Charlottesville hit-and-run: James Alex Fields, Jr., 20, of Maumee, Ohio.  He was indicted June 2018 charged with one count of a hate crime resulting in Heyer's death as well as 28 other hate crime charges involving attempts to kill others, according to an indictment released on June 27. These charges are in addition to the first-degree murder and other charges levied at the state level. The indictment also said Fields demonstrated hateful views on social media “expressed and promoted his belief that white people are superior to other races and peoples; expressed support of the social and racial policies of Adolf Hitler and Nazi-era Germany, including the Holocaust; and espoused violence against African Americans, Jewish people and members of other racial; ethnic and religious groups he perceived to be non-white.” Suspect flunked out of basic training two years before and was fired as a security guard after the attack.  [1]

Here's an excerpt from the information about Kessler published on their website:

Relying on familiar tropes of “white genocide” and “demographic displacement,” white nationalist blogger Jason Kessler seeks notoriety with his "Unite the Right" march in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Rumors abound on white nationalist forums that Kessler’s ideological pedigree before 2016 was less than pure and seem to point to involvement in the Occupy movement and past support for President Obama.

wapo Trump again blames ‘both sides’ in Charlottesville, says some counterprotesters were ‘very, very violent’ By David Nakamura Trump's remarks came a day after he belatedly condemned the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis and other hate groups that organized and participated in the rally. He had faced mounting pressure from lawmakers and civil rights groups over his failure to do so during his initial reaction to the violence, when he denounced violence “on many sides.

he also made clear that he believed that some of the counterprotesters were armed and took aggressive actions that helped spark the violence. “What about the alt-left that came charging at the alt-right — do they have any semblance of guilt?” Trump said. “They came charging, clubs in hand, swinging clubs.”

It will take a lot longer than 8 months and a totally biased media attacking him every day to reverse what he inherited from the Obamacare administration - the one who stored up all the racism and hate and even invited Black Lives Matter - the violent hate group that invites violence into the White House and suppirted them. These conditions will take time to mend when Obama and the left took us as low as they did. Obviously the American people agree since the Dems are now out of office!

Unbiased...?? I've had enough of your hateful speech, nazi!! IGNORE!

Trump's talk of their being two sides to the story re: physical violence. As usual, he's wrong. The neo Nazis and alt-right, KKK and others came prepared to be violent. The counter-protesters did not. They fought back in defense of themselves and others. That is not the same thing and Trump knows it.

Why don't you people google and watch the actual video of the police who in their interview state BLM and other counter protester hate groups were there armed and "mutually engaged". It is right there on video. But people like the violent Sophie don't want to do that - would rather put the spin on it that suits their political agenda. I am not in favor of any violent racism or hate group. But it is a fact that the majority of the violence comes from the left. And it is a fact that the left will not put all the facts on the table - the bias of the left and the media is so obvious and don't think for a minute you aren't transparent to the true Americans that are tired of your violence and hupocracy!!

Do your homework WAPO, the events were set in motion by a publicity seeking provocateur Wes Bellamy aided and abetted by an arrogant know it all mayor and pathetic excuse for a city council.
The police were told to stand down contrary to what passed for a news conference! Videos and Leo's confirm this!
Videos also confirm the violence was initiated by leftist agitators. The white supremacists and neo nazis responded in kind. The hate, ugliness, and violence came from both sides, something the media finds inconvenient to their narrative!
The mayor abdicated responsibility, when even a modicum of leadership could have diffused this tragedy, instead he chose to blame Trump! Shame on all parties! That lost life is squarely on the shoulders of that monster from Ohio, and to a lesser extent the mayor, city council and Wes Bellamy!
