Reckless Driver gets 4 years for vehicle homicide in fatal Anacortes DUI wrong way head on crash 1 killed 2 injured, suspect 4 years October 31, 2013 Near Anacortes Washington, 53-year-old Ira Blackstock crossed the centerline and slammed into a car with Alysha Pickler, 18, and twin 17-year-old sisters Janesah and Janeah Goheen, killing Janeah, and injuring two others. (AP) — A man charged with vehicular homicide in the deaths of twin sisters on Halloween near Anacortes has been sentenced to four years in prison.... jury found 55-year-old Ira Blackstock, of Oak Harbor, guilty of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault in September. his car crossed the center line of Highway 20 on Oct. 31, 2013 and hit a car,  was driving recklessly at the time.

Monday the 28th, Charles Brownlow  killed his mother, aunt and 3 others and set houses on fire across 5 crimes scenes starting in Terrell, Texas near Dallas. The next day in South Carolina, Bryan Sweatt took 4 adults and 2 children in a  home hostage, bound them with duct tape and shot them execution style. This is the first time, but one  expert opined  it's too early to say whether the total number of cases is higher than what we would see on average
