    4. In the U.S. state of Ohio, Thomas Lane receives three life sentences for the child murders at Chardon High School that he committed in February 2012 as a 17-year-old. (AP)
    5. 2 killed including suspect March 19, 2013: Assassination of Tom Clements Colorado Prisons Thomas Lynn Clements, head of the Colorado Department of Corrections was watching television just before he was murdered when he answered his home front door and shot by Evan Spencer Ebel, who was dressed as a pizza delivery man. The suspect who had an extensive criminal record and a white prison gang member died in a shootout in Wise County, Texas after a police chase. After his car was found with his Domino's Pizza props with various terrorist gear such as bomb-making materials, a mask, duct tape and even surveillance cameras, he was linked to killings of Clements and a murdered pizza delivery man. The motive in the killings wasn't clear to law officials. Ebel had just been released Jan.28 on mandatory parole for  two assault charges. The killing was only a week after he denied a request from Saudi Homaidan al-Turki  to be transferred to a Saudi Arabian prison. The The Dallas and Denver offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation also compared the homicides of Mark Hasse and Tom Clements to see if there was any connection or similarities, as both were killed in their homes. Investigators were still trying to determine why Ebel was in the state, and whether there is any connection to Texas Kaufman County prosecutor Mark Hasse’s death.
