The church was being used as a polling place for voters. The victims have been identified as Tony Allen, 55, of Midland, Susan Hicks, 64, of Concord and Sharon Campbell, 62, of Mount Pleasant. Officials do not believe the accident was intentional.

A female driver of a Dodge van backed up at a high rate of speed and hit a silver Honda and three people -- including the pastor of the church -- in the parking lot, according to police. Officers told Channel 9 that those three people were rushed to a local hospital, two of them with critical injuries. The victims have been identified as Tony Allen, 55, of Midland, Susan Hicks, 64, of Concord and Sharon Campbell, 62, of Mount Pleasant.
