1 killed, 2 injured January 18, 2014 Wisconsin Driver Hits and Ignores Cyclist On Windshield 56-year-old newspaper carrier Steven Gove was on his bicycle when he struck by a driver in Wisconsin who continued to drive with the man impaled on his windshield. He ran a stop sign and crashed into another car before returning home, apparently drunk. In 2007 Steven Warrichaiet was sentenced to 15 years in prison for hitting two, killing 50 year old Tyrone Ware whose dead body he apparently also did not notice stuck in his windshield as he drove home, and left the body in the garage. Joann Carroll-Hildahl, a 41-year-old woman, was found lying in the street. She is now paralyzed and in a nursing home. Warrichaiet pleaded no contest to charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, hit and run resulting in death, injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and hit and run. He reported his wife Beulah Ann Ware as missing after he came back home from jail for abusing her before his victim was run down walking with another woman.

, Tyrone Ware, a 50-year-old man, was pronounced dead about six hours later, after the driver called police to report that he might have hit someone.
The other victim, Joann Carroll-Hildahl, a 41-year-old woman, was found lying in the street. She is now paralyzed and in a nursing home.
e man and woman, both of Green Bay, were walking together when they were struck, police said. The 40-year-old driver was reportedly returning from a friend’s home at the time.
The driver, Steven Warrichaiet, continued home and parked his car. He called police to report he’d been in an accident and thought he hit someone.
An autopsy was conducted on the 50-year-old but the results were not released.
Green Bay Police Lt. David Wesely said police don’t know what happened in the six hours between the crash and Warrichaiet’s call to police.
Warrichaiet pleaded no contest to charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, hit and run resulting in death, injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and hit and run causing great bodily harm. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Interesting to note – Tyrone Ware’s wife, Beulah Ann Ware, is listed as a missing person.
From the Greenbay Press Gazette: “Police say Ware had been abused by her husband, Tyrone Ware, who reported her missing one week after being released from jail where he was being held on domestic abuse charges.” So Mr. Ware goes to jail for beating his wife, and one week after he gets out of jail for beating his wife, he reports his wife missing. Best case scenario, she didn’t want to be around if Tyrone was out and she got far far away.
