A detention officer was shot this month, but back in August 7, 2010,
three northern Arizona detention officers who were on their way to work were killed in a head-on collision with a pickup truck with sheared off the top of the vehicle. The driver of the truck was critically injured. It looks like an accident, but the fact that the victims are 3 law enforcement officers looks a lot like the May 2013 Coolbaugh "accident" that nearly killed 4 volunteer firefighters in Pennsylvania, and incident in Everett Washington where a car crossed two lanes of opposing traffic to hit a police motorcycle.
