June 3, 2019 Travis James Eckstein Mexico Border Shooting 23-year-old US citizen Travis James Eckstein (white male) was killed trying to drive from Mexico back into the United States. At  San Diego's San Ysidro Port of Entry, he failed to stop for an inspection, then rammed into another vehicle when he got blocked in.
