Three black churches in 10 days burned down in St. Landry Parish Louisiana --- ===

March 26. 2019; April 2, 2019, April 4,2019 3 suspicious fires at black churches that occured in 10 days[2] at St. Landry Parish in Louisiana were being investigated by state and federal authorities. [3] No one was injured, churces were not occupied at the time. All causes and motives were being considered, presumably including hate crime and terrorism as ATM and FBI were called in to hep. [3]    Holden Matthews, a white man who was son of a sheriff deputy was charged with arson [5]  On Facebook he was active in pagan and black metal pages which had connections to neo-Nazism and white supremacy.[6]. He knew about far-right former neo-Nazi metal musician Varg Vikernes, who served 15 years in prison for murder and arson killing a fellow metal musician and burning churches in Norway.  RationalWiki also calls him a neopagan,  neo-Nazi, racialistconspiracy theorist, anti-vaxxer, and prepper, Matthews commented on the religion's white supremacist associations with swastika-like designs and white power  [5]

  • April 2, 2019  Greater Union Baptist Church in Opelousas caught fire.[1]
  • April 4,2019  Thursday morning the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Opelousas caught fire.[1]
Officials are also investigating a fourth, smaller fire on March 31 at the predominantly white Vivian United Pentecostal Church in Caddo Parish, more than 200 miles north of St. Landry. The blaze was intentionally set. Officials said Thursday they had no evidence linking the Caddo fire to the other three.

Wade Michael Page Page who committed the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, fatally shot six people and wounded four others then shot himself. He had ties to white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups, and was reportedly a member of the Hammerskins.one of the most prominent American white power skinhead groups.[6] The Anti-Defamation League describes them as the United States' best-organized neo-Nazi skinhead group,[3]  He entered the white power music scene in 2000, becoming involved in several neo-Nazi bands. He founded the band End Apathy in 2005 and played in the bands Definite Hate and Blue Eyed Devils, all considered racist white-power bands by the Southern Poverty Law Center

Facebook page that appeared to belong to Matthews showed he was active in pagan and black metal pages, and that he commented on two memes about far-right former neo-Nazi metal musician Varg Vikernes, who served 15 years in prison for killing a fellow metal musician and burning churches in Norway. The comments revealed little other than that they indicated his familiarity with the figure.  The pagan circles Matthews and Vikernes frequented can be popular with neo-Nazis. Matthews frequently posted about pagan beliefs, and recently uploaded a picture of a gun and a knife with the caption “I carry this.....maybe not legally but I only truly follow the law of Odin..... which says as you said, arm yourself...... Odins advice> modern law.” Odin is a pagan Norse god.  One of the pagan pages Matthews was active on specifically forbade racism and “nazi stuff.” Matthews also appeared aware of the religion's white supremacist associations. In one post, a group member noted that a drawing of a pagan figure had a swastika-like design on his belt. “well yea the belt gives him extra strength and power.....white power lmao jk jk I had to,” Matthews wrote.  [5]
