December 13, 2018 Dennis Intermediate School in Richmond Indiana Shooting 1 killed. 14-year-old Brandon Clegg took a family member hostage and forced them to drive him to the school. His mother warned the school which was locked down by the time Brandon arrived. He shot at a door to try to get in, exchanged gunfire with police and then committed suicide by shooting himself.
