November 2, 2018 Amiremad Nayebyazdi Oklahoma City Bombing Threat Case Amiremad Nayebyazdi, 32, was arrested Nov. 2 in Oklahoma City on a complaint of making a bomb threat .(1) nvestigation into Nayebyazdi began on Oct. 30 after a supervisor at the Federal Bureau of Investigation Joint Terrorism Task Force contacted police that a man had been seen taking photos of unusual angles at the Oklahoma City National Memorial.(1) Iranian muslim Amiremad Nayebyazdi, 32, of Oklahoma City, left a message for this sister in Iran that “hundreds are going to die in Oklahoma City,” police reported in a court affidavit. Nayebyazdi said, “Don't tell mom and dad until after it is seen on the news, (2) No explosives were found when his apartment was searched. The suspect told police he hears things and stopped taking his medication, so was taken into protective custody and given a mental health evaluation. In 2014 he was detained for possession of controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and (4) detained for a mental health evaluation before (2) Police said, and his Linked in indicates Nayebyazdi has a petroleum engineering degree and worked for an oil company in Oklahoma City.(2)
