Cesar Sayoc Glorified Vladimir Putin, Spread Russian Propaganda

Oct 27, 2018e Washington Post has reportedly come into possession of hundreds of postings that Facebook removed
red flag that was raised during the publication’s surveying of the 56-year-old Florida resident’s far-right political rants and musings on soccer and mixed martial arts came by way of a number of status updates, photos, and memes he’s shared in homage to Putin and in defense of Russia’s support of Bashar al-Assad’s forces in Syria. It is alleged that between the years 2015 and 2016 Sayoc also published videos and links that could be traced back to sites with pro-Kremlin propaganda.

page listed under the first and middle combination of “Cesar Altieri” that proved most alarming to the Washington Post investigators, who retrieved a record of its contents from Columbia University social media researcher Jonathan Albright.

At least five instances in which Sayoc made reference to “my Russian brothers” were cited on his timeline

Sayoc has resided in a suburban area of Miami that is highly populated by Russians, a post or two that notes representation of predominantly Russian cities outside of the Sunshine State raises the question as to whether authorities ought to be probing what contacts Sayoc has internationally.

“Here to my Russian Brother in Moscow, Sunny Isle Bch Fla, Brighten Bch Brooklyn NY Brain, Shashana Borus, Eric Jeweler, Macaloff USSR big Red Machine Russian hockey team best in World Big John GM our nightly place 7 star food Kitchen 305 love ya all my brother Force 4 life no group better Hard Rock Sammy enforcers, My Russian, Italian, Native, etc anyone I may left out 4 life,” noted a message that he put up on Facebook in October of 2015.

five months earlier, appeared to just as incoherently invoke reference to Russia, only it seemed to illustrate anticipation of a catastrophic event.

“Unground city Bahamas US government preparing for end fact. Tons pipe water lines going under Bahamas 900 dirty bombs disappear from Russia planted on US soil ready for end,” Sayoc wrote in May of that year.

October 2018 United States mail bombing attempts - Wikipedia

In late October 2018, over one dozen packages containing pipe bombs were mailed via the U.S. Postal Service system to several prominent critics of U.S. President Donald Trump, including various Democratic Party politicians (Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Eric Holder, Barack Obama,Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Maxine Waters), actor Robert De Niro, billionaire investors George Soros and Tom Steyer, former CIA Director John O. Brennan, and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper[2][5] (though the packages sent to Harris and Steyer are still being investigated).[6] No one was injured in the attempted attacks. The attacks prompted an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.[2] None of the devices exploded outside of a controlled setting.[7]

The first pipe bomb was placed in the mailbox at Soros' home in Beford, New York.[2][8] Later the same day, the United States Secret Service intercepted bombs addressed to Obama and Clinton.[2] CNN received one addressed to Brennan at its New York City studios in Time Warner Center, which was evacuated.[9][2]

A similar device sent to former U.S. Attorney General Holder, which had the wrong address, was instead delivered to the Florida office of U.S. Representative Wasserman Schultz , whose name and address was on the return labels of all of the packages.[10] U.S. Representative Waters was targeted with two packages intercepted by authorities, one in Washington, D.C. by the United States Capitol Police,[11] and another in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Police Department(LAPD) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).[12] The New York City Police Department removed a package found in Tribeca at an office used by De Niro.[13] The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) removed two packages found at postal facilities in Delaware, addressed to former Vice President Biden.[14]

A suspect, Cesar Sayoc Jr., also referred to by the media as the "MAGA bomber,"[15] was arrested in Plantation, Florida, on October 26 in connection with mailing the explosive devices.[16] The FBI is treating the investigation as domestic terrorism.[17] If convicted, Sayoc could face up to 48 years in prison.[18]

October 22–23[edit]

A device was found in the mailbox at the home of George Soros in Katonah, New York, on October 22.[19] A device addressed to Hillary Clinton was discovered the following evening, before it reached her home in Chappaqua, New York.[20]

October 24[edit]

Suspicious packages were also sent to, from left to right, John O. BrennanMaxine Waters, and Eric Holder.

A device addressed to former President Barack Obama was intercepted by Secret Service during a mail screening in Washington, D.C. on October 24.[20] Additionally, a package containing an explosive and a suspicious powder was found in CNN's mail room in the Time Warner Center in New York City, addressed to former CIA Director John O. Brennan (misspelled as "Brenan").[21] CNN reported that law enforcement said the package was delivered by courier.[20] Brennan has served as a senior national security and intelligence analyst for MSNBC and NBC News since February 2018, but has appeared on CNN in the past.[22] The bomb alarm went off during CNN Newsroom with Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto.[23] They left the building together with their colleagues Kate Bolduan and Athena Jones and kept reporting via Skype over a cellphone line.[24][25][26]

A suspicious package addressed to U.S. Representative Maxine Waters was intercepted by United States Capitol Police.[20] A package addressed to former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder with the wrong address was returned to the purported sender, U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz.[20] A second package addressed to Waters led to the evacuation of a U.S. Postal Service facility in South Central Los Angeles.[12]

A building containing offices for U.S. Senator Kamala Harris and the San Diego Union-Tribune was evacuated due to a suspicious stack of postal boxes. Roads in downtown San Diego were closed for several hours Wednesday morning, but the contents were determined to be only random items.[27][28]

October 25[edit]

Packages addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden and actor Robert De Niro were intercepted on October 25.
In the early morning hours of October 25, a package was found in Tribeca, New York City, addressed to actor Robert De Niro via his company TriBeCa Productions.[13]
Authorities also found a package in New Castle, Delaware, addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden (whose full name, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., was used). It was returned to the post office due to insufficient postage.[14] A second package meant for Biden, this one with a wrong address, was found at a facility in Wilmington, Delaware.[14]
The Miami-Dade Police Department and federal authorities believe several of the packages went through a mail processing and distribution center in Opa-locka, Florida, and are currently searching the facility with a bomb squad and K-9 unit.[29]

October 26[edit]

Authorities found two packages similar to previous packages. One addressed to former National Intelligence Director James Clapper was found in a New York City postal facility, while another addressed to New Jersey Senator Cory Booker was found in a Florida postal facility.[30]
Cesar Altieri Sayoc Jr. (aged 56, of Aventura, Florida) was arrested by authorities in Plantation, Florida, in connection with the explosive devices.[31] The suspect has a criminal history.[32] A white van covered in stickers (several showing support for Donald Trump) was also seized by authorities.[33]

Devices and envelopes[edit]

The devices are believed to be pipe bombsNew York City Police Commissioner James P. O'Neill has stated that law enforcement also found an envelope containing white powder in the package sent to CNN.[34] The device sent to CNN was adorned with a meme parody ISIL flag with the inscription "Get 'Er Done"[35], a catchphrase of standup comedian Larry the Cable Guy.[36] A law enforcement official told reporters that the devices sent to Clinton and Obama were similar in design to the one that was sent to Soros.[37] John Miller, the New York City Police Department's (NYPD) Head of Intelligence and Counter-terrorism, stated that all the confirmed bombs appeared to come from the same person or persons.[38]
According to The New York Times, the device sent to Soros's house was constructed from a length of pipe about six inches (150 mm) long filled with explosive powder, and was proactively detonated by bomb squad technicians.[39] Authorities reported that the devices recovered October 24 were packed with shards of glass.[7] According to the Associated Press, a law enforcement official says tests have determined that the powder found inside an envelope delivered to CNN along with a pipe bomb was harmless.[40] The bombs also contained pyrotechnic powder but lacked a triggering mechanism, yet the FBI is calling them "potentially destructive devices".[41] Law enforcement officials told Associated Press the devices contained batteries and timers but were not rigged to explode when they opened.[42] At a press conference following the arrest of the suspect, FBI Director Christopher Wray described the bombs as improvised explosive devices, stating that they were "not hoax devices."[43]
The envelopes were labeled with the return address of the office of Wasserman Schultz in Sunrise, Florida. All contained the same spelling errors (Schultz was misspelled "Shultz" and Florida was misspelled "Florids").[10] All of the packages were sent in yellow manila envelopes lined with bubble wrap and given a printed label and six Forever stamps.[39] Photographs of the package delivered to the CNN mail room were posted to Twitter by Jim Sciutto and Jim Acosta.[21][44]

Investigation[edit]

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), United States Secret Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the United States Postal Inspection Service, NYPD, Los Angeles Police DepartmentMiami-Dade Police Department and other law enforcement agencies are investigating the mailing of the devices and the intent of the sender.[10][29][45]
Several of the mail bombs were sent to the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia, for inspection.[2] Images of envelopes taken by the U.S. Postal Service's Mail Isolation Control and Tracking system have been examined as part of the investigation.[2]
On October 26, federal agents reviewed security footage from a U.S. Postal facility in Opa-locka, along with bomb squad members and a canine unit.[46] DNA found on at least one of the packages, helped identify the suspect and by tracking his cell phone the suspect was arrested in a parking lot in Plantation.[47] Video footage of the arrest scene, showed a van being towed towards Miramar, Florida; said van was covered with images of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, along with a sticker that read "CNN Sucks".[47] Other stickers on the van, showed Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama with crosshair designs on their faces.[48]

Suspect[edit]

A mug shot of Cesar Sayoc Jr. from a previous arrest in 2015
On October 26, an arrest was made in South Florida of 56-year-old B of Aventura, Florida[49] in connection with the series of explosive devices.[4][50][51]Sayoc has a criminal history. In 2002, he pleaded guilty to threatening to blow up the Florida Power and Light building.[52][53] In the past three decades he has been arrested multiple times on charges including theft, battery, and drug possession, with convictions in 1991, 2013, and 2014.[54] He is a registered Republican.[4][50][51]
Sayoc's van was seized when he was apprehended. Before law enforcement officials covered it with a tarpaulin, reporters took photos of the van, whose windows were covered with multiple stickers including flags, images of "liberal figures framed in crosshairs", and posters supporting Trump.[54][55][56][57][58] Some posters also supported the "unconquered Seminoles", a Native American tribe. Sayoc has been described as proudly claiming Native American heritage,[54] although the Seminole Tribe of Florida said there was no record of him being a member or employee of the tribe.[49]
A supporter of Trump, Sayoc filmed himself wearing a "MAGA hat" at a Trump rally.[15] The Miami New Times reports he was active in social media, where he was known for his extreme views.[59]
Sayoc is charged with five federal crimes: "interstate transportation of an explosive, illegal mailing of explosives, threats against former presidents and certain other persons, threatening interstate communications, and assaulting current and former federal officers".[60] The charges were filed by federal prosecutors in the Justice Department's Southern District of New York.[61]

Reactions[edit]

Political[edit]

File:President Trump Condemns Mailing of Explosive Devices to Democrats.webm
"President Trump Condemns Mailing of Explosive Devices to Democrats", from a speech made at the White House on October 24 (video from Voice of America)
Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton both thanked the Secret Service for intercepting the package; Hillary Clinton said "Every day we are grateful for their commitment, and obviously never more than today, but it is a troubling time isn't it? And its a time of deep divisions, and we have to do everything we can to bring our country together."[62]John Brennan pointed directly to Trump's rhetoric, saying that Trump "fuels these feelings and sentiments that now are bleeding over into potential acts of violence... Unfortunately, I think Donald Trump, too often, has helped to incite some of these feelings of anger, if not violence, when he points to acts of violence or also talks about, you know, swinging at somebody from the press or the media."[62]
Several sources pointed out that some of the targets of the mailings, such as Clinton and Waters, are people that Trump routinely attacks at his campaign rallies – his "favorite punching bags".[63][64] New York Mayor Bill de Blasio described the packages as "an act of terror" and stated that all politicians must stop encouraging attacks on media.[65] Biden said of the attempts, "we’ve got to turn off this hate machine."[66] Wasserman Schultz responded saying, "We will not be intimidated by this attempted act of violence. This appalling attack on our democracy must be vigorously prosecuted, and I am deeply disturbed by the way my name was used."[67] Waters said, "I don't know whether the bombs are real or not, but we should not crawl under the bed, close the doors, not go out, be afraid to go to rallies. We have to keep to doing what we're doing in order to make this country right; that's what I intend to do, and as the young people say, I ain't scared."[68]
Trump held a midterm campaign rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, on October 24, during the height of the incident. He said of the bombings:
My highest duty, as you know, as President, is to keep America safe. That's what we talk about. That's what we do. The federal government is conducting an aggressive investigation and we will find those responsible and we will bring them to justice. Hopefully very quickly. Any acts or threats of political violence are an attack on our democracy, itself. No nation can succeed that tolerates violence or the threat of violence as a method of political intimidation, coercion, or control. We all know that. Such conduct must be fiercely opposed and firmly prosecuted. We want all sides to come together in peace and harmony. We can do it. We can do it. We can do it. It will happen.[69]
The next day, Trump claimed on Twitter that the mainstream media were largely responsible for anger present in American society.[70] His comments were echoed by White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who said that Trump had urged the public to come together and had sent a very clear, strong unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence had no standing in the U.S. Sanders then attacked statements by the CNN President, claiming that he "chose to attack and divide".[71]

Media[edit]

CNN President Jeff Zucker said about the mailings, "There is a total and complete lack of understanding at the White House about the seriousness of their continued attacks on the media. The president, and especially the White House press secretary, should understand their words matter. Thus far, they have shown no comprehension of that."[72]
Following the news of the events, the hashtag "#MAGABomber" began trending on Twitter.[73][74][75]

Conspiracy theories[edit]

Conservative commentators such as columnist Kurt Schlichter and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones quickly issued social media posts and articles through Infowars, to assert their belief that the incidents were false flags and a "super convenient turn of events" and a potential "political stunt". Many of the comments were quickly deleted as more information was received about the case.[76] Others, such as commentator Rush Limbaugh, protested the idea that Republicans were behind the packages, claiming that "Republicans just don't do this kind of thing. Even though every event, like mass shootings, remember, every mass shooting there is, the Democrats in the media try to make everybody think right off the bat that some tea partier did it, or some talk radio fan did it, or some Fox News viewer did it. Turns out, it's never, ever the case." Limbaugh instead raised unsubstantiated claims that the perpetrator might have been a "Democrat operative ... attempting to create the appearance that there are mobs everywhere."[77]

Authorities impounded a white van at the scene of Cesar Altier Sayoc's arrest on Friday in Plantation, Florida
Sayoc had reportedly been kicked out of his parents' home and was living in the van when he was arrested
Nearly every inch of the vehicle's windows is covered in politically-charged stickers, many of which appear to have been custom-made
Red shooting targets have been juxtaposed over photos of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Green Party Leader Jill Stein, CNN commentator Van Jones and liberal filmmaker Michael Moore

white commercial van plastered with dozens of stickers that appear to express support for President Donald Trump and disdain for his political rivals was transported away from the scene of Sayoc's arrest in Plantation, Florida.

Stickers featuring red shooting targets over the faces of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Green Party Leader Jill Stein, liberal filmmaker Michael Moore and CNN commentator Van Jones and others are juxtaposed next to an image of Trump standing triumphantly on top of a military tank.

On another passenger-side window there is a banner with the presidential seal and the words: 'My President No Path To 270 Landslide It Was A 306-Tsunami' - referring to Trump's electoral college victory in the 2016 election.

Under the banner are several random images of Jesus, Native American figures, country singer Toby Keith and the band 3 Doors Down. At right are several conservative messages including 'A Christian Nation', 'We Vote Pro-Life' and 'Americans & America First'.

Sayoc wore a shirt with the same images portrayed on his van window to a Trump rally, as seen in a Twitter photo.

A handful of the messages scattered around the van point to Sayoc's apparent Native American heritage, including one that says: 'Native Americans for Trump' and a number of Seminole tribe flags.

Two bright yellow stickers on the back and side of the vehicle appear to be novelty 'ISIS hunting permits'.

Sprinkled among the politically-themed stickers are several promoting soccer teams including the US national and University of North Carolina clubs as well as one that says 'Top Youth Soccer Recruits for Trump'. A Twitter believed to have been managed by Sayoc lists 'former professional soccer player' in the bio.

Prominently featured on the side of the van are the words: 'I Am Donald Trump & I Approve This Message.'

Cesar Sayoc: 'MAGA Bomber' Facebook Betrays DEMOCRAT TRUMP INFILTRATOR, ANTI-GOP POSTS ...
www.shadolsonshow.com › Home › BREAKING NEWS

46 mins ago - Sayoc, of Aventura, Florida, is a former professional soccer player, former male dancer, male review coordinator, casino entertainment ...mainstream media quickly labels Cesar Sayoc as a bona fide Trump loving conservative Republican, social media and internet investigation shows alleged “MAGA Bomber” listed as registered Democrat, multiple social media posts hating Republicans and GOP, bashing George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, posting photos of Bush and Cheney as ‘war criminals,’ and praising Code Pink, “liberal women,” as beautiful women of the world.

The arrest of 56-year old, Cesar Altieri Sayoc of Aventura, Florida, also known as Cesar Sayoc, or Cesar Altieri Randazzo, as he is known on facebook, on allegations he is responsible for the flurry of fake bombs sent to Democrat leaders just days before the 2018 midterm election, brought immediate identification of Sayoc  as a diehard Trump supporter driving a pristine, unvandalized (despite multiple alleged trips through vehemently anti-Trump metropolitan areas, more on that later) “Trump Van” wrapped and plastered with Trump paraphernalia in what appears an over the top Trump tribute befitting a circus routine. Or, very likely, someone trying way too hard to appear a Donald Trump supporter.

sweep of personal data and internet background information, Sayoc, of Aventura, Florida, is a former professional soccer player, former male dancer, male review coordinator, casino entertainment marketing and events promoter, and longtime tribal casino employee who claims to have worked at multiple Florida locations, most recently as an events promoter and marketing specialist with the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Florida, a company owned by the Seminole Tribe and run by Seminole sovereign nation, traditionally, massively and publicly anti-Trump and staunchly Democrat in both their leadership and lucrative Democrat financial support, along with the majority of their enrollment.

The Seminole Nation purchased the Seminole Hard Rock Casino on December 7, 2006.

Members of the Seminole tribal leadership have served as high level and lucratively pocketed Democrat donors and political activists. A spokesman for the Seminole Tribe has issued a statement denying Cesar Altieri Sayoc ever worked for the tribe or for the casino, though multiple pictures on his social media show him at the Hard Rock Casino, posing with employees, entertainment acts and friends. This is a developing story.

It should also be noted that the Seminole purchase of the Hard Rock Casino deepened native tribes already long-running competition in the lucrative casino industry competing directly against Donald Trump Casino properties up and down the East Coast, in locations from Florida, New Jersey and Connecticut. Florida is the third largest Indian gaming state in the nation. It has seven Indian casinos. Six are owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, which owns and runs Seminole Hard Rock Casino where Sayoc worked.

On the surface, Cesar Altieri Sayoc (Randazzo’s) facebook profile, deleted and scrubbed at 11:25 am MDT Friday but captured and kept open by yours truly and other investigators, reads like a year-long infatuation with Trump mania, showing him at multiple Trump rallies, always in an ubiquitous red MAGA hat and posing for blurry lensed photos at Trump rallies in multiple states.

inspection however finds inexplicable and conflicting nuances in Sayoc’s posts, apparently evidencing anger at Hillary Clinton’s famous documented cheating of  Democrat frontrunner Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democrat Presidential Primary (photo below,) and a Twitter account following only 32 public figures, all of them Democrats like Bill and Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and profanely vitriolic Leftist comic and writer, Lena Dunham.

2016 posts offer a picture of someone trying equally hard to leave a mountainous muddy trail of his true political leanings prior to undertaking an act of false flag provocateurism for political effect, including a years long apparent (russprop) obsession with ISIS and the Syrian conflict, fixation with Vladimir Putin’s brutal dealings with ISIS in Syria and Iraq and a string of muddled posts that have either been edited post-hence, or were originally placed with no sensitivity to seemingly conflicted simultaneous imagery, praising for example feminist anti-Trump protestors AND Donald Trump in the same post.

one photo, (above) Sayoc’s caption repeatedly references and praises “PRESIDENT” Donald Trump in July of 2016, FIVE MONTHS prior to Trump’s entirely unlikely election victory, at a time when no one but a few of us were willing to publicly predict Trump’s victory, much less refer to him as President.  The same post cluster of photos also features a picture from what appears a feminist rally, alongside gushing support for Trump by Sayoc and his male review buddies.

Far more revealingly, scrolling past 2016 to 2015 reveals Cesar Altieri Sayoc (Randazzo) as a (more russprop) hater of former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, evidenced by photos of Bush with blood on his hands and photos of Bush and Cheney portrayed as Nazi war criminals in best keeping with far leftist hate groups widely circulated portrayal of the Bush administration as war criminals.  Are these the photos an average rabid, diehard, dyed in the #MAGA-wool, Trump supporter would sport on their page in 2015?  Highly unlikely.

Elsewhere on the internet, just seconds after Cesar Altieri Sayoc’s apprehension, his public listing identified him as a Democrat.  (Below) Moments later, the listing was updated by someone, changing his listing from Democrat, to “Republican.”  (Photo)
