Assault on The Ten Commandments

In June 2017, Reed drove a car into the new Ten Commandments statue at the Arkansas State Capitolbuilding one day after it was put up. The statue was destroyed.[1] Reed streamed his attack on Facebook Live, screaming "freedom!" He also created a GoFundMe to pay for his car.

On Facebook, Reed referred to himself as a terrorist and made threats to Barack Obama and President Donald Trump as well. He recorded a video manifesto before his attack where he discusses his religious views. He calls his philosophy the "white plans" which indicates he might be a white supremacist. [5]
