About 100 officers from the OPD and the Orange County Sheriff's Office were first dispatched to the scene.   A crisis negotiator was present,[15] as Mateen was holed up inside and holding hostages.  Officers initially believed he was armed with a "device" that posed a threat, but it was later revealed to be an exit sign or smoke detector that fell down. This Kevlar police helmet, showing bullet hole(s), is credited with preventing the death of an officer during the gunfight. t 2:22 a.m. EDT, Mateen made a 9-1-1 call in which he pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. In the call, he also referenced Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bombers. At 3:58 a.m., the OPD announced to the public that there was a shooting at the club, and that there were multiple injuries. OPD officials advised citizens to stay away from the area.[3]

Around 5:00 a.m., SWAT officers entered the building by driving an armored vehicle through a wall, then used two flash-bangs to distract Mateen.[20] Mateen was shot and killed in the gunfight, which involved eleven officers.[21] Five minutes later, police said that a bomb squad had set off a controlled explosion.[3][15] At 5:53 a.m., they confirmed Mateen's death.[3] Thirty hostages were freed during the police operation, and one officer received a non-lethal shot to his head and was hospitalized with eye injuries.[22][23][24] Once the officers got in, they found thirty-nine people dead inside the club and another two people dead outside.[16][20]

ISIL itself has reportedly claimed responsibility for the shooting.[57][58] These reports were based on the Amaq News Agency, reportedly affiliated with ISIL.[59]

The father of the shooter  Seddique Mateen  could be the controller as he is a pro-Taliban activist who claims the attack was strictly anti-gay and not motivated by an Islamist nationalist attack on Americans.  Mateen expresses gratitude toward the Afghan Taliban, while denouncing the Pakistani government. “Our brothers in Waziristan, our warrior brothers in [the] Taliban movement and national Afghan Taliban are rising up,” he said. “Inshallah the Durand Line issue will be solved soon.”

nytimes : Mr. Mateen may have contacted another Orlando club in the days leading up to the shooting  Micah Bass, the owner of the M Hotel and Revere, a large gay club in the area, said that someone resembling Mr. Mateen requested to add him as a friend this week on Facebook. He said he looked at the person’s picture and noticed that a lot of his friends had Arabic writing on their pages. Mr. Bass said he figured the request must have been sent in error, so he deleted it.  After the attack this morning Mr. Bass thought the name of the man looked familiar. When he searched the name on Google he realized it was in fact the same person who had contacted him.

A new message posted by the father on Facebook early Monday morning also makes it clear he could have passed anti-homosexual views onto his son. video posted early Monday, Seddique Mateen says his son was well-educated and respectful to his parents, and that he was "not aware what motivated him to go into a gay club and kill 50 people." The elder Mateen says he was saddened by his son's actions during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. He then adds: "God will punish those involved in homosexuality," saying it's, "not an issue that humans should deal with."

The Father of the Orlando Shooter Recently Visited Congress, State Department, Writes Open Letters To President Obama

BY BENNY JOHNSON (18 HOURS AGO) | ELECTIONS

Little is known about the personal life of Omar Mateen, the man who pledged allegiance to ISIS before butchering more than 50 people inside an Orlando nightclub early Sunday morning, but his political activist father, who is running for President of Afghanistan, seems to have an odd relationship with the U.S. Government and sympathies toward the Taliban.

Here is what we know about the Orlando shooter’s father:
His name is Seddique Mateen and he is from Afghanistan.

Mateen told NBC News early on Sunday that his son became angry while seeing two men kiss.

“We were in Downtown Miami, Bayside, people were playing music, and he saw two men kissing each other in front of his wife and kid and he got very angry. They were kissing each other and touching each other and he said, ‘Look at that. In front of my son they are doing that.’ And they we were in the men’s bathroom and men were kissing each other.’”
Mateen has his own television show, which broadcasts out of California.

It is called the “Durand Jirga Show” and features Mateen discussing Middle Eastern politics. The show is posted on YouTube.
According to the Washington post, the show demonstrates the Orlando shooters father’s sympathetic views toward the Taliban:

In one video, Mateen expresses gratitude toward the Afghan Taliban, while denouncing the Pakistani government.

“Our brothers in Waziristan, our warrior brothers in [the] Taliban movement and national Afghan Taliban are rising up,” he said. “Inshallah the Durand Line issue will be solved soon.”

This April, Mateen was in Washington DC doing advocacy work with Congress and the State Department

Mateen regularly describes his campaign to become President of Afghanistan in posts on Facebook. According to the Washington Post, heannounced his candidacy on his YouTube show:

The most recent video on Mateen’s YouTube channel shows him declaring his candidacy for the Afghan presidency. The timing of the video is strange, as it came a year after presidential elections were held in Afghanistan.
Mateen believes people are trying to get into the U.S. to kill him

A post from the first of June says this:

Mateen regularly posts bold messages to the U.S. military and President Obama

On June 12, 2016, a mass shooting occurred at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, United States. 50 people were killed, including the gunman, and 53 others wounded, inside the nightclub. The assailant was identified as Omar Mir Seddique Mateen, a 29-year-old United States citizen of Afghan descent.

The attack is the deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman in United States history, the deadliest incident of violence against LGBT people in U.S. history, and the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil since the September 11 attacks of 2001 (previous was Virginia Tech) . The attack was labeled by the Orlando chief of police and Orange County sheriff as an act of "lone wolf" domestic terrorism. Mateen pledged allegiance to the organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) during the attack, though investigators have not yet found evidence linking Mateen to the group, and cautioned that the attack may have been ISIL-inspired without being ISIL-directed.

Attack[edit]
On June 11, 2016, Pulse, a nightclub in Orlando, Florida, was hosting a weekly Saturday night event that is primarily visited by Hispanic clientele (Latino Night).[1]

Mateen was armed with a .223-caliber SIG Sauer AR-15-type rifle and a 9mm Glock handgun and approached the club.[2][3][4] An armed security guard, who was an Orlando Police Department (OPD) officer working extra duty in full uniform,[5] engaged Mateen, returning fire at 2:02 a.m. EDT.[6][7] Mateen was able to enter the building, however, and began shooting patrons just as last call was being announced.[2][8][7] About 320 people were in the club at the time.[2] The officer was soon joined by two additional officers who also began engaging Mateen. Mateen then retreated further into the nightclub and began to take patrons hostage.[2][3][4] About 100 officers from the OPD and the Orange County Sheriff's Office were first dispatched to the scene.[3]

Law enforcement and medical assistance arriving at the scene
During the attack, people trapped inside the club called and messaged friends and relatives. Initially, some of them thought the gunshots were firecrackers[9][10] or music. “We thought it was part of the music. It went ‘pop, pop, pop, pop’. But for some reason it was different. I don’t think anyone realized until the fifth or sixth shot and then it was just a domino effect as everybody hit the floor,” Luis Burbano told a reporter.[11] Many described a scene of panic and confusion caused by the loud music and darkness. One person hiding in a bathroom covered herself with the bodies of victims for protection.[12] Some entertainers hid inside a dressing room when the shooting started and escaped the building by crawling out when police removed the air conditioning unit. One of the bartenders said she hid under the glass bar. Many patrons attempted to save the lives of those injured.[12] At 2:11 a.m. EDT, nine minutes after the gunfire first started, the club posted on its Facebook page, "Everyone get out of pulse and keep running."[13]

Dozens of first responders—including OPD officers, Orange County sheriff's deputies, and FBI agents, as well as paramedics and firefighters from three fire departments—reported to the scene.[14] A crisis negotiator was present,[15] as Mateen was holed up inside and holding hostages.[16][14] Officers initially believed he was armed with a "device" that posed a threat, but it was later revealed to be an exit sign or smoke detector that fell down.[17] Due to the nature of the situation, officers said that they had to wait for three hours in order to have a full assessment of the incident, wait for armored vehicles, and ensure they had enough personnel.[3]

This Kevlar police helmet, showing bullet hole(s), is credited with preventing the death of an officer during the gunfight.[18][19]
At 2:22 a.m. EDT, Mateen made a 9-1-1 call in which he pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. In the call, he also referenced Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bombers.[3]

Victims[edit]
At least 49 people were killed; another 53 people were injured in the shooting, with many requiring surgery in local hospitals.[25] [26][22][27][16][28][29][30] This made the attack the deadliest mass shooting in modern United States history,[31][32] the deadliest incident of violence against LGBT people in the history of the United States,[33] and the deadliest terrorist attack in the country since the September 11 attacks of 2001.[12][34]

Thirty-eight people were pronounced dead at the scene, while eleven people were taken to hospitals and later pronounced dead.[12][20] The nightclub is three blocks from Orlando Regional Medical Center, the primary regional trauma center, and many victims were taken there; two other area hospitals also treated victims.[14] The deaths of the following victims have been confirmed:[35]

Omar Mir Seddique Mateen was identified as the gunman after the shooting.[26] He was a United States citizen born in New York City to Afghan parents and was a Muslim.[36][37] At the time of the shooting, he lived in Fort Pierce, Florida, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) from Orlando.[38][39][40] According to Florida Department of Law Enforcement records, he had no criminal record in Florida.[40]

In 2011 and 2012, Mateen made two trips to Saudi Arabia.[41]

Mateen first became a person of interest to the FBI in May 2013, when he came to the FBI's attention after making "inflammatory" statements at a contract security guard job; Mateen specifically told coworkers that he had family connections to al-Qaeda and that he was a member of Hezbollah.[42] (Hezbollah is an enemy of ISIL, to which Mateen later pledged allegiance, and FBI Director James Comey noted the "contradictory" nature of Mateen's statements.[42]) The FBI opened a preliminary investigation and interviewed Mateen twice; Mateen admitted making the statements but "explained that he said them in anger because his co-workers were teasing him."[42] The FBI closed the investigation after ten months, deeming Mateen not to a threat.[42] Mateen was on a terrorist watch list during the investigation but was removed once the investigation closed.[42]

In July 2014, Mateen's name came to the attention of the FBI after he was linked to Moner Mohammad Abu Salha, an American radical who traveled to Syria and committed a suicide bombing there; the two men knew each other casually and attended the same mosque.[42][43] The investigation continued with a focus on Abu Salha.[42]

In 2006 and 2007, Mateen worked for seven months as a prison guard for the Florida Department of Corrections, leaving the position for an "administrative matter unrelated to misconduct."[44] In 2007, Mateen was hired as a security guard for G4S Secure Solutions, and held that position until his death.[44] The company said screenings upon hiring and in 2013 had raised no red flags.[45] Mateen held an active firearms license and a security guard license.[43] A former coworker described Mateen as "unhinged and unstable" and said that he "had talked often about killing people and had voiced hatred of gays, blacks, women and Jews."[46][10]

In 2009, Mateen married his first wife, who left him after four months; the couple's divorce became final in July 2011. Following the nightclub attack, Mateen's ex-wife said that Mateen was "obviously disturbed, deeply" and was possibly bipolar; she stated that Mateen was often physically abusive and used steroids.[47][48][49]

Mateen's father, Seddique Mir Mateen, was quoted as saying that he had seen his son get angry after witnessing a gay couple kiss in front of his family at a festival marketplace in Miami months prior to the attack, which he suggested might have been a motivating factor.[50][51]

An ATF official said that Mateen legally purchased at least two firearms in Tampa within the week preceding the shooting, but it is not known if these were used in the attack.[52]

Aftermath[edit]
Many people lined up to donate blood at local blood donation centers and bloodmobile locations after OneBlood urged people to donate.[53][54] The LGBT Community Center of Central Florida provided grief counseling for survivors.[55]

Investigation[edit]
Orlando Police Chief John Mina reported that a handgun and an AR-15-type rifle, along with additional rounds, were recovered from Mateen's body.[56] Mina called the shooting an act of "lone wolf" domestic terrorism. Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said, "This is an incident, as I see it, that we certainly classify as domestic terror incident." When asked about Islam, FBI agent Ronald Hopper replied, "We do have suggestions that that individual might have leanings towards that particular ideology."[2] Mina said Mateen was organized, well prepared, and not from the local area.[19] The FBI set up a hotline for callers with information on the shooting.[55]

A social media account connected to ISIL "gloated about the attack,"[55] while ISIL itself has reportedly claimed responsibility for the shooting.[57][58] These reports were based on the Amaq News Agency, reportedly affiliated with ISIL.[59]

In June 13, 2016, FBI Director James Comey reported that "So far, we see no indication that this was a plot directed from outside the United States and we see no indication that he was part of any kind of network."[42] Comey stated that the Intelligence Community was "highly confident that this killer was radicalized at least in part through the Internet"[42] and stated that the investigation had found "strong indications of radicalization by this killer and of potential inspiration by foreign terrorist organizations."[60] U.S. officials have stated that ISIL may have inspired Mateen without training, instructing, or having a direct connection with him; a number of past terrorist attacks, including the attack in San Bernardino the previous year, have been committed by "self-radicalized" assailants.[10] ISIL has frequently claimed responsibility for attacks perpetrated by the self-radicalized individuals who have pledged allegiance to it, despite the lack of any direct tie.[61][62] Investigators have said that no evidence linking Mateen to the group has emerged, and have cautioned that the attack may have been ISIL-inspired without being ISIL-directed.[63]

Following the shooting, officers from multiple federal, state, and local law-enforcement agencies (including the FBI, ATF, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office and Fort Pierce Police Department) converged on Mateen's home in Fort Pierce and another home in Port St. Lucie. A bomb squad was present at Mateen's home to check for explosives.[64]

The shooting has been described as an example of soft target terrorism, which targets civilian locations with minimal security.[65]

Reactions[edit]
Government[edit]

File:President Obama Speaks on Tragic Shooting in Orlando.webm
President Obama's June 12, 2016, statement on the shooting
The Obama administration released a statement sending its condolences to the victims. President Barack Obama directed the federal government to provide any assistance necessary to "pursue the investigation and support the community".[66] In a speech, the President described the attack as an "act of hate" and "act of terror".[39][67][68][69] The President also issued a proclamation ordering US flags around the country to be lowered to half-staff.[70]

Florida Governor Rick Scott released a statement of support for all affected, and noted that the state emergency operations center is monitoring the incident.[71] Additionally, Scott declared a state of emergency for Orange County, Florida,[72][73][74] and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer declared a state of emergency for the city.[75][76]

Public[edit]

Vigil in Minneapolis
Facebook activated its "Safety Check" feature in the Orlando area following the attack, allowing users to mark themselves as "safe" to notify family and friends, the first use of the feature in the United States.[77][78]

Many people on social media and elsewhere, including U.S. presidential candidates, members of Congress, other political figures, foreign leaders, and various celebrities, expressed their shock at the events and extended their condolences to those affected.[79][80]

Vigils were held, or are being planned, in various cities and countries around the world to mourn those who were killed in the shooting.[81][82][83]

The state's largest LGBT rights group Equality Florida started a fundraising page to aid the victims and their families, raising $767,000 in the first nine hours.[84][85][86] By June 13, it raised more than $1.2 million.[87]

The 2016 Tony Awards ceremony was dedicated to the victims of the shooting, to whom host James Corden paid tribute in his opening monologue.[88] Lin-Manuel Miranda recited a sonnet which he composed in honor of the dead upon accepting the Tony Award for Best Original Score for Hamilton.[89]

Prior to the shooting, he had been investigated by the FBI in 2013 and 2014. Mateen reportedly pledged his allegiance to the jihadist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) before the shooting.[9]

Personal life
Mateen was born as Omar Mir Seddique[1] in New York City to Afghan parents, with his father being a supporter of the Mujahideen.[10][11][12] He attended Martin County High School for one year and also St. Lucie West Centennial High School, where a schoolmate said he was bullied. He reportedly held two degrees in science from Indian River State College, received in 2006 and 2007.[13][14]

In 2006, he filed a petition for a name change, adding Mateen as his surname (Arabic: متين‎‎ matīn, meaning "strong"/"tough").[1]

He had worked for the security firm G4S Secure Solutions in Jupiter, Florida, since 2007.[15][16][17] He held an active firearms license and a security guard license.[17][18] A former coworker who worked with Mateen in a gated community in western Port St. Lucie described him as "unhinged and unstable". He also said that he frequently made homophobic, racist, and sexist comments, and talked about killing people.[1][19] The coworker stated he complained to G4S about Omar Mateen "several times."[20]

Mateen married an Uzbekistan-born woman in April 2009. They were married for four months, after which they separated; they eventually divorced in July 2011.[13][21][22] Following the nightclub attack, Mateen's ex-wife told media outlets that during their marriage, Mateen was mentally unstable, and would beat her and keep her completely separated from her family.[23] He reportedly remarried and had a three-year-old son.[24] His first wife also claimed that he was bipolar and had a history with steroids.[22]

At the time of the shooting, he lived about 100 miles (160 kilometers) from Orlando, Florida.[10][11] According to Florida Department of Law Enforcement records, he had no criminal record in Florida. Mateen lived in Fort Pierce, Florida, but received mail at his parents' home in nearby Port St. Lucie.[13]

Characterization
Mateen's father is Seddique Mir Mateen, who hosted a TV show called Durand Jirga Show on satellite television network Payam-e-Afghan in 2015 representing himself as a candidate for the President of Afghanistan.[12][25] The Washington Post reported that Seddique Mateen advocated "support for the Afghan Taliban", which is known for terrorist acts against civilians and for the oppression of women.[26] Seddique said of his son's actions, "This had nothing to do with religion." He was quoted as saying that he had seen his son get angry after witnessing a gay couple kiss in front of his family at a festival marketplace in Miami months prior to the attack, which he suggested might have been a motivating factor.[6][7]

Imam Shafiq Rahman at the Fort Pierce Islamic Center told reporters that Mateen would come to the mosque "three or four times a week[27]" with his father and his three-year-old son as recently as two days before the shooting, and said of him, "He was the most quiet guy. He would come and pray and leave. There was no indication at all of violence." Rahman added that he did not preach violence toward homosexuals.[28] A former high school friend and co-worker said that despite reports of Mateen's homophobia, a number of his co-workers at Treasure Coast Square were gay and Mateen had no obvious conflicts with them.[29]

Alleged links to terror groups
Mateen became a person of interest to the FBI in 2013 and 2014. The 2013 investigation was opened after Mateen made "inflammatory" comments to co-workers and the 2014 investigation was opened after Mateen was linked to Moner Mohammad Abu Salha, an American radical who traveled to Syria and committed a suicide bombing there.[17] Mateen was interviewed three times in connection with the investigations, which were both closed after producing nothing that appeared to warrant further investigation.[30]

U.S. Representative Adam Schiff, the ranking Democratic member of the House Intelligence Committee, said that according to the Department of Homeland Security, Mateen had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL),[5] though analysts noted that "at this point, it's anyone's guess as to how involved Omar Mateen was with either Al Qaeda or ISIS." [5]

Shooting and death
Main article: 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting
At approximately 2:00 a.m. on June 12, 2016, Mateen entered the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, and began shooting. At 2:22 a.m., he made a 9-1-1 call in which he pledged allegiance to ISIL and also referenced Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bombers.[31] Mateen took hostages after police arrived and engaged in a shootout with him. At approximately 5:00 a.m. police shot and killed Mateen, ending the attack. In the end, Mateen had killed at least 49 people and injured 53 more. The attack was the deadliest mass shooting in United States history,[a] the deadliest incident of violence against LGBT people in U.S. history,[37] and the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil since September 11, 2001.[22][38]

Imam Musri Mosque Funds HAMAS

Islamic Faith Based Adviser to former Florida Governor
Charlie Crist in 2009 is caught funding terrorism via
George Galloway, a self-admitted Hamas fundraiser, and
Imam Mahdi Bray, a public Hamas supporter.

Patrick Poole, in a September 2010 column "Charlie
Crist's Ally Hosted Hamas Fundraiser" reported: A key
Muslim ally of Florida Governor and US Senate candidate
Charlie Crist, Imam Muhammad Musri, hosted a fundraiser
in Orlando for the terrorist group Hamas in June 2009,
and a camera crew from ACT for America [and The United
West] infiltrated the event held at Masjid Al-Rahman,
Musri's mosque, to record the proceedings. Imam Musri,
head of the Islamic Society of Central Florida, serves on
Crist's Faith-Based and Community Advisory Council and
was appointed by Crist to his 2010 Sunshine Census
Committee. The Orlando Hamas fundraiser featured as its
keynote speakers former UK parliamentarian George
Galloway and Mahdi Bray of the Muslim American Society-
Freedom, and was intended to raise money for Galloway's
Viva Palestina organization. That Galloway and Viva
Palestina have provided material support for Hamas
through the funds they have raised across the U.S. and
elsewhere is hardly a secret. In March 2009, Galloway was
videotaped by Al-Jazeera giving a duffel bag full of cash
to Hamas social minister Ahmad Kurd, who called Galloway
"a hero." Kurd was designated a global terrorist by the
U.S. government in August 2007. The al-Rahman mosque in
Orlando, FL is a Muslim Brotherhood owned (NAIT) and
operated property.

This should scare everyone of us. Straight, gay, brown, white, black, rich, poor, or middle class. This time the target was the LGBT community, next time it probably will not be. They are after all Americans. Make no mistake, ISIS/Taliban want to see us burn and will not give up trying. We must slow down everyone coming into this country from known terrorist hot spots. Any Americans traveling to and from those countries should be watched over with vigilance.   Brown, Mateen tried to purchase body armor at a local store, at a level higher than ordinary police departments when of supplied their officers and no one thought to alert the authorities?  So its more difficult to purchase body armour than deadly assault rifles. The media can get all this intel in less than a day. So this guy could be linked to the CIA and FBI like the Boston Bombers. Boston Bombers were exposed by the Russian/Chechen Intelligence and kick out for being spies. The Russian FSB told the FBI about the Boston Bombers and the FBI controlled them. This Orlando attack has the hallmarks of him being Protected. FBI spoke to him 3 times, allowed a sensitive job after being violent to his wife, allowed to carry firearms in his job and able to buy weapons quickly and pass background checks in a state with strict gun laws.

ISIS fanatic died in a hail of bullets as he crawled from the toilet through a hole in the wall made by cops to help victims escape  On Monday, authorities gave more details about how Omar Mateen was killed at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida on Saturday.  99 comments  uthorities gave more details about how Omar Mateen was killed at Pulse nightclub on Saturday
Officials punched a hole in the wall of the gay club after Mateen took several revelers hostage and threatened their lives
The 29-year-old gunman then crawled out of the same hole and started shooting at police
Two weeks before the shooting, he tried and failed to buy body armor
He killed 49 people and injured more than 50 more at the club - the deadliest shooting in U.S. history
At the club Mateen was involved in three 911 calls from the club during which he was 'calm and cool'
During the calls he pledged allegiance to ISIS and claimed solidarity with Boston bombers and the Florida man who became an Al-Nusra Front suicide bomber in Syria

Mateen barricaded himself in a toilet with around four or five hostages after shooting some of his initial victims and called the police, speaking in a 'cool and calm' voice with crisis negotiators. When he spoke about 'bomb vests, about explosives' and made threats of an 'imminent loss of life', police made the decision to blast through the wall with an armored vehicle, which Mr Mina said saved 'many, many lives'. FBI Director James Comey added in a statement on Monday that the shooter was involved in precisely three calls to a 911 dispatcher at approximately 2:30am. Comey said: 'He (Mateen) called and hung up. He called again and spoke with the dispatcher and hung up.  'During the calls he said he was doing this for the leader of ISIS, who he named, and pledged loyalty to. But he also appeared to claim solidarity with the perpetrators of the Boston Marathon bombings and solidarity with the Florida man who died as a suicideb bomber in Syria for Al-Nusra Front - a group in conflict with the so-called Islamic State. Mateen, the 50th person to die, was killed by Swat officers when he opened fire at police after himself crawling out of the hole made to rescue the nightclubbers. It was revealed on Monday that two weeks before the shooting, Mateen tried and failed to buy body armor.  punched a hole in one of the bathrooms of the club and that Mateen crawled out and engaged in a firefight with police ...The FBI believe Mateen, who was shot dead by officers, may have 'leanings to radical Islamic terrorism'. ...
