Richard Dawkins Says He Now Believes Muslim Bomb Clock Student Ahmed Mohamed  Christian Post - School officials have stood by their initial reaction to Mohamed, arguing that the clock the student brought into MacArthur bore a strong resemblance to abomb. "The people at the school thought it might be a bomb, perhaps because it looks exactly like ...Dawkins, who had previously expressed skepticism about the official story of Ahmed Mohamed and his arrest, stressed on Twitter that he agreed it was wrong to arrest and handcuff the student. "Yes, I completely agree with that. He should most certainly NOT have been arrested, handcuffed etc.," tweeted Dawkins on Sunday. Dawkins commented on social media that the source of his concerns about Mohamed centered on the student apparently claiming that he "invented" the clock, when he had not done so... commenter: This kid wanted to cause a stir and he did. He made an item that resembled what many think of as a homemade bomb (lots of wires and a clock) and took it to an ENGLISH classroom not a SCIENCE classroom and caused it to make suspicious noises. He wanted his five minutes of fame and he got it. What bothers me most, though, is that NO'Bama thought it was cool to support even the hint of terrorism in schools where there's already enough fear facing teachers and students from terrorism as it is. As a person that's worked in and around schools for many years, I think it's good that he was arrested because even the hint of terrorism in our schools and facing our children should be crushed. And there are many different types of explosives than just dynamite. If this kid was such a "whiz" then he could be using something homemade for that too and it wouldn't necessarily look like a stick of dynamite or a block of c4 or anything else. This was an act of terrorism plain and simple and the kid should be made to pay for it
