  1. September 4, 2015 Chinese warships spotted off Alaska coast reportedly passed through US waters FoxNews.com Five Chinese warships that were operating off the Alaska coast earlier this week reportedly entered U.S. territorial waters and came within 12 nautical miles of the coast, Pentagon officials told the Wall Street Journal early Friday. After a joint military exercise with Russia in late August. Officials in Beijing insisted that the activity was routine and not aimed at any particular country. [or Obama's Alaska visit] three surface warfare ships, one amphibious assault ship and one supply vessel... first time that Chinese ships had been seen in the body of water separating Alaska and Russia. Only in past few years venturing far outside shores near China. Chinese Warships Spotted In Bering Sea As President Obama Tours Alaska FoxtrotAlpha. Warships of the Chinese Navy have been spotted in the Bering Sea off the coast of Alaska, around the Aleutian Islands to be more exact, but there’s probably no reason to panic. Yet. And here’s why. We know that the Chinese Navy harbors blue-water ambitions that are requisite for truly global power projection.  ships turning up near the coast of Alaska while President Obama is there probably is no coincidence. Five ships really isn’t a lot when you consider the United States Navy, the largest in the world, has 273 ships in its purview (not to mention over 3,700 aircraft as well). But sending those five to an area where China’s Navy has not gone before does reflect a message about ambitious power projection,
  2. Mike Huckabee to visit rogue Christian Kentucky clerk Kim Davis in jail Huckabee has called Davis's case an example of the "criminalization of Christianity in our country." "Having Kim Davis in federal custody removes all doubt of the criminalization of Christianity in our country. We must defend religious liberty and never surrender to judicial tyranny," he said in a statement Thursday. "I am proud of Kim for standing strong for her beliefs. Who will be next? Pastors? Photographers? Caterers? Florists? This is a reckless, appalling, out-of-control decision that undermines the Constitution of the United States and our fundamental right to religious liberty. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul saying Thursday the move would set a bad precedent. "I think it's absurd to put someone in jail for exercising their religious liberty," forcing conservative Christians to issue marriage licensees to same-sex couples is going to backfire. "Those who are persecuting Kim Davis believe that Christians should not serve in public office. That is the consequence of their position. Or, if Christians do serve in pubic office, they must disregard their religious faith -- or be sent to jail," he said in statement. "Kim Davis should not be in jail. Gov. Bobby Jindal also defended what he called Davis' religious freedom.

  12. September 4, 2015 The Racial Reality of Policing - 129 black men killed by cops, 7,739 murdered by thugs WSJ Police bias and misconduct are serious problems—but so is the epidemic of homicide among young black men. Others have compared the incidents to an epidemic, even to genocide. Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei has tweeted about Ferguson (was he taking credit?). Michael Brown’s parents were flown to Switzerland to address the U.N. Committee Against Torture,  after years of dealing with the realities of street violence, I don’t understand how a movement called “Black Lives Matter” can ignore the leading cause of death among young black men in the U.S., which is homicide by their peers.  2011, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention counted 129 instances of black men killed by “legal intervention”—that is to say, by cops. ...gives a sense of the scope of the problem. By contrast, in that same year, 6,739 black men were murdered, overwhelmingly by young men like themselves.  Since 2001,... more than 90,000 black men in the U.S. have been killed by other black men.  ...Ferguson burned because people believed a lie; because many still believe it, cops have been shot there, and the threat of riot remains.

    1. Turkey Disputes Thai Bombing Suspects Are Turkish Thai authorities have suggested that at least two of nine suspects are possibly Turkish, prompting the Turkish Embassy in Bangkok to issue a statement Thursday saying it has not received confirmation from Thai authorities about the nationalities of the suspects. boosted a theory that the suspects may be part of a group seeking to avenge Thailand's forced repatriation of more than 100 ethnic Uighurs to China in July. Erawan Shrine is especially popular with Chinese tourists, feeding the speculation that it could have been targeted by people who believe the Uighurs are oppressed by China's government. China has alleged that the repatriated Uighurs included some who intended to join Islamic State fighters in Syria. Suspect arrested Chinese passport indicated he was from the muslim dominated Chinese region of Xinjiang, found his fingerprints on a bottle of bomb-making material. Suspect Thai woman identified as Wanna Suansan and said to be married to a Turkish man. Wanna said she is innocent and is currently living in Turkey. authorities have been careful not to state publicly that the case may be linked to the Uighurs.
    2. This Is The Insane Video China Just Put Out Showing It Attacking The U.S. Foxtrot Alpha A small group of Chinese Navy ships showed up near Alaska earlier this week during President Obama’s visit to the northern state, mostly as a “we’re here” message. But then, as the Chinese People’s Liberation Army marched in a Beijing parade, someone simultaneously put out this completely nuts video of a naval attack on an American fleet, and on an American base that looks suspiciously like the one on the Japanese island of Okinawa. Videos feature ballistic missile attack, assault hovercraft, carrier-based fighters conquering an island after enemy which uses American Burke-class destroyers and Nimitz class carriers and F-35 launches attack on Chinese base.

t the Standard ballistic defense missiles fall completely short against the actively-maneuvering Chinese warheads. The Chinese missile-and-warhead combination most resemble the DF-21D, an anti-ship ballistic missile which has been called a “carrier-killer”:
This Is The Insane Video China Just Put Out Showing It Attacking The U.S.
The Chinese warheads all land, destroying the American-looking fleet. We see one submarine destroy another sub under the water, before surfacing and gazing up at what looks to be the PLA Navy’s Liaoning aircraft carrier (which it recently bought from Ukraine), launching J-15 fighter aircraft, Chinese-built navalized versions of Russia’s Su-33 Flanker-D:
This Is The Insane Video China Just Put Out Showing It Attacking The U.S.
The jet fighters soar over an amphibious force of Zubr-class hovercraft and landing ships, which place Type 96 tanks and other vehicles on a beachhead:
This Is The Insane Video China Just Put Out Showing It Attacking The U.S.
Once again, we cut to the skies, where we see Chengdu J-10B and next-generation J-20 fighter jets gracefully and easily evade air defenses, before dropping bombs and taking out what look to be identical to American F-35 fighters:
Surface-to-surface missiles and tanks literally fly through the air, as they remain unscathed from the enemy fire:
The foreign forces are vanquished, and the Chinese flag is raised over the remnants of the island base:
Trumpets blare, helicopters soar, and the combined forces of the People’s Liberation Army are victorious over the military force that looks damn near identical to an American one.
The Council on Foreign Relations noted a translation of the words that close it all out:
China is strong, victorious wars require deaths; for all to be strong and safe, [we] face the risks and dangers of war. We wholeheartedly love peace, but must be prepared for the likelihood of war. We respectfully and solemnly commemorate the 70th anniversary of the war against Japan.

(There is no mention of the inevitable nuclear holocaust that follows.)
Anyways, hope everyone has a happy Labor Day weekend! I bet someone’s got a good barbecue cookin’!
