  12. 1 killed suspect charged with homicide July 4, 2015  WA: State Patrol says pot involved in fatal July 4 alleged falling asleep crash Seattle man charged with homicide and driving under the influence of marijuana in connection with a fatal crash in Tumwater.  26-year-old Patrick Lee Martin .. driving a Chrysler 300 at speeds exceeding 100 mph when he struck a Volkswagen Jetta, which then rolled into a ditch. He told police he had fallen asleep, but  they smelled marijuana and determined he was under influence. Commenter: really a vehicular homicide crime with the DUI a secondary crime.

He was a graduate of American University where he was a LGBT activist, and former intern and staff for Democratic Connecticut Congressman Jim Himes. July 4, 2015 Lee Harold Cromwell Sovereign Citizen Vehicle Rampage After July 4 Fireworks Oak Ridge TN self-proclaimed sovereign citizen  hit and killed a man and injured eight others with his Dodge pickup truck in a crowded parking lot of people at Bissell Park after a night of fireworks on July 4, 2015 in Oak Ridge Tennesee.  He crashed once, stopped, resumed driving and crashed again as if it were deliberate. When the damage to lives and vehicles was done, people in the parking lot said Cromwell remained in his truck rather than get out and help the victims.  He was sentenced to 12 years in prison. He believes he is the victim of a conspiracy and has retaliated by filing false lien claims totaling $137 million against those involved in his criminal case. Cromwell claims he was backing up carefully when his truck suffered a mechanical problem and went out of control.  Cromwell is a bible quoting Christian who has been saved since 15, his two step-daughters and a church member spoke to his good character and he had no criminal record
