Nov. 16, 2010  Drew Rosenberg, 25, of San Francisco, was hit by an unlicensed driver Robert Galo who was an illegal alien in the US since 1998.  Galo made a left turn and crashed into Drew who was riding his motorcycle home from law school. The low speed crash wasn't serious until he drove over Drew a third time in an attempt to flee. Five months before, police stopped Galo for driving the wrong way on a one-way street, and driving without a licence and insurance. The offence was considered too minor for deportation. Galo only served 43 days in jail, and was deported in 2012 after pressure from Rosenberg's father reopened the case.  Rosenberg calculated 3,000 were killed by illegal aliens in car crashes in 2010. Cynthya Garcia-Cisneros, who drove into a pile of leaves and killed two girls, is another example of an alien would could have been deported, but will be allowed to stay
