Monday January 20, 2014 In Arizona, a man was killed and two people were hospitalized Monday after a flatbed truck driven by Joseph Ryan O’Connor dropped several canisters of freon gas, and he sped away from the crash that left a semitruck engulfed in flames. The suspect was arrested and expected to be booked on charges including negligent homicide.
When the truck dropped canisters on the road, a motorcyclist swerved and hit a semitruck which then struck a mini van. The semitruck also burst into flames after it was hit by a gas canister.
