Sep 17, 2013 - A simple car accident may have led to a fight that ended in a North York man's fatal stabbing days later, police said Tuesday Keshan Maharaj, 24 Charged With Murder
Toronto Police allege Chang was stabbed to death last Thursday at his home on Francine Dr., near Leslie St. and McNicoll Ave., when a 24-year-old man smashed into his scooter two days earlier.
Chang was driving his red and grey scooter north on Mount Pleasant Rd. at Roehampton Ave. around 12:20 p.m. on Sept. 10 when he was hit by a white Ford F-250 pickup with a Mount Pleasant Cemetery logo on it. It’s believed the pickup driver, a seasonal mechanic at the cemetery, was at fault. Chang, a self-employed Chinese and Japanese interpreter, suffered minor injuries but agreed to settle the $1,000 in damage without involving their insurance. They allegedly met at Chang’s house two days later, shortly before 8 a.m., to discuss the matter. “This encounter escalated and concluded in the violent death of ... Chang,” Beveridge said. Maharaj, who immigrated to Canada from Trinidad six years ago, is scheduled to make a video appearance in court Thursday.
Similar to the soldier who came back to pay back for damaging a borrowed car and then stabbed his wife while she was teleconferencing this husband. First tries to kill the guy by hitting him, then visits to finish him off.

Not to make light of a tragic event, but the accused murderer WAS driving a cemetery van when he hit the elderly victim. I assume he just missed the first time and had to come back to finish him off.
