Under Armour Headquarters False Gunman Lockdown November 10, 2013 Baltimore, Maryland: An anonymous 911 call about a gunman results in a SWAT team locking down a section of South Baltimore. This follows a bomb threat hoax at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Police did not not connect the two events, but vowed to catch the hoax caller that tied down significant resources and inconvenienced people who were returning to their cars from games.

November 8, 2013, 9:22 a.m. A 31-year-old man with a history of theft and narcotics-related crimes has been arrested in theslaying of Martha Sanchez, a mother of five who was shot and killed while working alone at a South L.A. discount store. Prosecutors plan to file murder and other charges against Eric Atkinson of Los Angeles, who was arrested Oct. 9 on a parole violation Sanchez, 39, was working at the Happy Bargain discount store about 8:50 p.m. Sept. 17 when the robbery and shooting ... Atkinson walked in, robbed the store of between $200 and $300 and shot her multiple times. A customer found Sanchez and called for help, but she was pronounced dead at a hospital at 9:40 p.m.

A Mississippi man was arrested in connection to the deaths of a 7-year-old boy, .....then set his home on firekilling the three of them in a gas-fueled explosion.
Jaidon Hill, 7, Atira Hill, 30, and Laterry Smith, 34, had been missing since Friday. They were last seen driving in their vehicle, which was found burning and upside down in a ditch near Carpenter, in the central part of the state.
investigation led Copiah County Sheriff's deputies to 42-year-old Timothy Lydell Burns, who was arrested in Jackson on Tuesday, WAPT reports. The man reportedly led authorities to the bodies, found in an old house near the car's location. All three had been shot. Police wouldn't provide a connection between Burns and the deceased family.
On Monday, investigators were seen collecting items -- including bloody clothes and Hill's ID badge from her job at the University of Mississippi Medical Center -- from a Dumpster at a Shell gas station in Jackson, Yahoo! News reports.

    Tuesday November 5, 2013 A school  bus hit  by an SUV crashed into a house in north Minneapolis. The SUV driver ran a light and told police that the brakes failed. The bus was empty except for a child of the driver.
