July 23, 2013 Two men named Han and Li in Beijing asked a woman to move her stroller away from a parking spot. After she refused, Han got out of the car, knocked down the woman, grabbed the 2 year old out of the stroller and and threw her onto the ground. Li also hit the woman before both men escaped in the car. The girl died shortly after, the men were found and arrested.

September 25, 2013 Han Lei, 39 who threw a toddler to the ground in argument over parking space was charged with intentional homicide and sentenced to death in Beijing, China. Accomplaice Li Ming got 5 years in jail. The girl who was nearly 3 died of her injuries.
Han and Li were looking for a parking space for a karaoke bar, but tried park at a bus stop where the woman was standing with her child. Han yelled that she was blocking the car's path with the pushchair. The court rejected his defense that he had been intoxicated at the time of the attack, saying that his mental condition had been "stable" despite earlier drinking at dinner. Prosecutors recommended that Han, who committed the crime within a year of being released from prison, be given the death sentence. Han stated: "I smacked her in the face. She hit back, too. People started to gather around us. I just wanted to smash the trolley" on Weibo netizens remarked "He deserves to be shot 100 times," while another opined "Dying once is leniency".
