Man Saves Drunk Who Crashes His Parked Car Head On
Sunday September 22, 2013 David Jensen pulled his SUV over near Grand Forks, N.D., and turned on his flashers in the night to send a text. Then Tracy Ludwig, 49, of Fisher, Minn for "no known reason" crossed over the dividing line and evidently without taking careful aim, crashed head on into the only vehicle she could have hit for miles. Jensen quickly gained his senses after his air bag went off, and dragged the injured woman out of her now burning car just moments before it exploded. The woman faces a recovery and a drunken-driving allegation, but evidently won't be charged with vehicular assault.
DUI is a common cover story for causing deliberate "accidents" along with drugs or texting.
