01. Alice Walker into David Icke's Reptilian Shapeshifter Theories
http://dailycaller.com/2013/07/23/if-you-disagree-with-alice-walker-about-the-zimmerman-verdict-youre-probably-a-shapeshifting-lizard-like-alien/

Scroll down to the part where the interviewer says, “Our readers are aware of the existence of the shape-shifting reptilian extraterrestrials…” Well, of course. Who isn’t?

As Daniel Greenfield at Frontpage notes, Walker has written more about this irrefutable scientific truth on her blog. Here she reviews a book called Human Race Get Off Your Knees: The Lion Sleeps No More, by British lunatic 9-11 truther Iranian MOIS disinfo agent David Icke:

Earlier I wrote that David Icke reminded me of Malcolm X. I was thinking especially of Malcolm’s fearlessness. A fearlessness that made him seem cold, actually, though we know he wasn’t really. All that love of us that kept driving him to improve our lot; often into quite the wrong direction, but I need not go into that. What I was remembering was how he called our oppressors “blue eyed devils.” Now who could that have been? Well, we see them here in David Icke’s book as the descendants of the reptilian race that landed on our sweet planet the moment they could get a glimpse of it through the mist that used to cover it (before there was a moon). No kidding. Deep breath! Yes, before there was a moon! (Oh, I love the moon; can I keep it? Please?). Anyway, there they came, these space beings (we’re space beings too, of course, not to forget that). But they looked…. different than us. And they were.
They wanted gold and they wanted slaves to mine it for them. Now gosh, who does this remind us of? I only am asking. You do the work. Apparently their own planet needed this metal to continue its, apparently, long life. Credo Mutwa, Zulu shaman – and I am on my knees here in gratitude that he held on long enough to tell us about this – calls them the Chitauri, which has become my favorite word of all time (well, of this time that I’m learning all this): my partner and I go around saying Oh, Chitauri, whenever we get a glimpse of one or two of the Chitauri offspring, aka Illuminati bloodline families and their puppets, on the telly. It’s quite the stress reliever, just knowing what we’re looking at. And I like saying “telly” too, because it sounds so English and David Icke-esque. Truthfully our “telly” is our laptops.

04. Spain train crash driver under investigation as death toll hits 80

El Pais cited sources close to the investigation saying the driver stated immediately after the crash that he had been traveling at 118 mph on the curve, which had a speed limit of 49 mph. [seems the driver here is the single point of failure. Does not make sense he was deliberately travelling that fast to make up for late schedule unless that was a cover story for deliberately trying to crash the train. Like an experienced pilot who claims he was not watching the airspeed on landing]

05. Improper Autothrottle selection may have tripped Asiana crash

The 777 experts say the most plausible explanation for what happened next was that the pilots, intentionally or in error, selected the FLCH mode on the MCP with the target altitude set at 0 ft. or the minimum descent altitude. In a descent, FLCH reduces thrust to flight idle. The throttles will typically reengage when the aircraft reaches an altitude selected on the MCP, or if the aircraft's speed nears stall speed at radio altimeter heights greater than 100 ft. If the altitude was selected to zero, however, the throttles would have remained at flight idle as Flight 214's pilots increased pitch to remain on the glideslope, causing airspeed to drop below preset levels. “Boeing is aware of this shortcoming, which in some circles is known as the FLCH 'trap,' and in its training course demonstrates the danger to pilots,” says one of the 777 experts. “The danger of the FLCH trap is that if the autopilot is disengaged and the aircraft levels off early . . . or the rate of descent is reduced, then the airspeed will decay because the autothrottle is temporarily out of the loop.” comment:  fails to point out several key points, that immediately after applying power, the pilot pulled the stick back in response to the recommendation for a go around. Which further highlights that everyone on the flight deck had absolutely no clue about their current airspeed, nor did they attempt to verify it before pointing the nose up, stalling, and slamming into the seawall. comment: Finding the "cause" of this accident is, of course, critical to aviation safety. However, these overt and covert mode changes have not relieved the pilots of their responsibility to FLY THE PLANE. Regardless of how an airplane is equipped, the pilots' job is to "AVIATE, navigate, communicate." I continue to believe the pilots of this aircraft are guilty of criminal negligence (at least), and are personally and professionally responsible for the deaths and injuries that occurred. They flew a perfectly operating aircraft into the ground in CAVU conditions, while the cockpit displays of altitude and airspeed were right in front of them. No excuses.
comment: dials vs digial I am an old and ancient military fighter pilot who spent many happy years training pilots to fly high performance jets. One of the key things I use to impress on my students was the need to monitor two things continuously during a landing, runway aspect and speed. I would get them to repeat the mantra, Runway Aspect, Speed, Runway Aspect, Speed et infinitum. This ensured that they only concentrated the absolute minimum number of things that mattered during the approach and landing. It seems that the computer engineers have made the operation of the aircraft systems that more time is spent trying to manage the automation than is spent flying the aircraft. Our aircraft with their "steam driven" instruments were simple, on finals if the ASI needle was at 10 O'clock I was going to land successfully, if it went to 9 O'clock I said 3 Hail Mary's and 2 Our Fathers, because I was going to stall and die. If it got to 11 O'clock I was going off the end of the runway. In a modern airliner to ascertain your speed from the digital read-out you have to take in 2 or three pieces of data rather than just looking at the needle position. Add to that an extremely complex computer system that may be doing something that you didn't ask it to, or thought you didn't ask it to and you have a recipe for disaster.... some of the blame must lie with the FMS designers many of who have never flown an aeroplane
comment:  Yet no one in the same media will just come out and plainly state the obvious: the fault obviously lies with the two "nuts" between the seats and the control yokes.  Funny how all this "automation" hasn't caused a 777 to fall to the ground before, with thousands of other pilots and aircraft, all of whom have to deal with the same automation. Or is it more convenient (or plainly lazy) of the press to try to blame this on Boeing, for some reason?

06. Margaret Cho Brags About North Korean Heritage and Prays They Come Here

Comedian & Actress Margaret Cho joins HuffPost Live and discusses the relationship between North Korea and the United States, as well as her North Korean background. [Well that certainly explains a lot about her politics...] Margaret Cho: "I really look like Kim Jong Il" Actress-comic Margaret Cho tells CBSNews.com producer Lauren Moraski why she loves her role on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva," what to expect from her new comedy tour, and how she wound up playing North Korea's Kim Jong Il on "30 Rock." http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2011/12/19/margaret-cho-i-was-once-kim-jong-il/ There is no way of knowing what happens in North Korea and what doesn’t. What happens in North Korea stays in North Korea.North Korea is an unsolved mystery. I once had family there, and now the family ties, cut for so long because of the separation of the Koreas into north and south, have healed over into non-existence. Perhaps there is a scar there, an infinitesimal tear in some great grandmother’s conscience, but I don’t even know her. No one in my family remembers her name, so it’s like she never existed. We from the south and we from the north now are separate and at best, indifferent. At worst, hateful in the terrible way of civil war and the brutal animosity of a country divided is capable of. Do we despise ourselves more when we are ourselves?I felt sick and sad for the people on the North Korean side of my family who died without ever getting to know me, or hating me just because we happened to live on one side of the border 07. http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2013/07/25/is-this-the-future-of-food/
More Miyazaki: the next opus from the grandmaster has arrived, a historical drama called “The Wind Rises,” and it looks incredible — and it’s already Japan’s biggest movie of the year to date. Check out the teaser trailer here, and cross your fingers for a quick U.S. release.
08. Media shying away from Huma Abedin's Muslim B'hood connections
http://shoebat.com/2013/07/25/why-did-limbaugh-avoid-the-real-huma-abedin-scandal/

by  on July 25, 2013 in BlogGeneral As expected, Rush Limbaugh placed the Anthony Weiner / Huma Abedin press conference at the top of his ‘stack of stuff’ on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. ...but Limbaugh steered clear of the larger scandal. That scandal has been percolating beneath the surface – occasionally rising too the surface – for over two years and it involves Abedin much more than it does Weiner.

Mullins spoke about Limbaugh before bringing Ben Barrack on to the program to talk about how Weinergate 2.0 might help expose Abedin’s connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. Unfortunately, to this point – and Limbaugh could be holding back until the latest scandal unfolds – no one seems to be going after the low-hanging fruit. The evidence against Huma is so strong that in a sane world, she would have been indicted by a grand jury on charges of espionage a long time ago..
